Do people still buy used clothing on ebay and other market sites, or just go to second hand stores locally? I was going through my closet today and saw that I have old clothes I don't always wear and some I haven't for years.

I also have 2 boxes of clothes that were given to me by a friend who no longer needed them and wanted to clear up space in their house and side room. Mostly shirts, but some pants like jeans.

I got to thinking that maybe I could sell some of these or all of them that are not used if there is still a market for it. Or is it too competitive to sell like that anymore?

I cannot think of a specific online shop that sells used clothes, but there is social media sites where some are
selling their used clothes and other stuffs.

I know about selling used books online,especially the books for studying in the university are very much in demand,because normally those books would be much more expensive.Sites with used clothes I am not aware of them.

in my view, this is one of the cases in which you'd find buyers easier offline. why? because your potential buyers are able to check your products and compare them with what they've already seen in other offshores. when it's about old clothing, it's hard to trust online sellers

This is the true essence of life and blessing humanity.I do same,I give alot of my oldies to charity.There's special smiles from those we blessed and it defintely priceless.

Yes, giving your old stuffs to others, or simply giving little help and knowing that you make them happy can give you a smile on your heart, a satisfying feeling that you will never get from selling. :)

If you want to sell clothes brother should be raised on some sites that offer such content, but this does not save you a heavy income and there is no turnout on this field for several issues, including lack of trust between the seller and the buyer

It will not give you big income but it will help get rid of the old stuffs that you are
not using anymore. You have the choice
to sell and earn or just donate it to the needy.

I too never sell product online before. Don't know the shipping procedure. And never bought second hand stuffs online too. To sell my used stuff ai just start spreading the news through friends offline that I have something to sell. Then after somedays I get a buyer easily from local area.

The shipping fee will be charged on your costumer, then you will be the one to process it. But if you can just sell it to your friends, then this is not needed.

You may give a try but there is no market here since not all local llike to wear the old clothes except they are branded one. We have some bunddle shops which sell those old clothes from oversea cheap at only USD1 or even less each which attract many low income earners shop there.

Good to know this. And yes, I can sell with friend circles now. So, didn't tried online option. But will try this option also sometime for experience

You can try it not only for
used stuffs but also if you wantnto
start selling business and you want a wider range, or sell worldwide, you can try online option :)

I am thinking about creating a e-commerce site using dropshiping. Then I will surely experience this. Now working on finding a investor for my dropshiping selling site. I don't have enough for the monthly cost of dropshiping plugins.

If you manage to sell through droppshipping that will be a good business. I have seen many people who are earning big amount through dropshipping especially for items with big discounts, they can make big profit through it.

Yes. Need to have good sale, also good customer feedback. I asked one friend to help me in this, she owns blogs, so I thought maybe she will help. But unfortunately she reported my sharing links on facebook. It's really funny.

Lol, why did she do that? yo can try to
promote your business on appropriate groups on social media sites.
There, I am pretty sure there will
members that will be interested

I don't know why she did so. Now facebook permanently blocked my domain name,maybe because I wrote many messageso support. It was just a blog, and I am also sure that there is no objectionable material there, I am running adsense ad there.

I have also never seen anybody selling their old rubbish dirty clothes for selling online for a penny ???i think its only possible offline !!;who will check holes and dust no no its not possible wasily !!,only electronics and useable things can be selled in olx ,quickr etc !!thankx .

I agree @Devil Sing . Who would buy old clothes when you can buy new clothes very cheaply online? Remember they are dollar stores and five dollar stores online. It doesn't make sense especially if you include shipping costs.

I think there would be more costs selling the clothes online,than the profit will be actually.Only if it is sold in a local store,but who will buy used clothes?Better donate to people,who need them...

On some countries
old clothes can be sold, but just like what I said, it will still depend on the quality of the clothes. If course
you can just donate them if you want.

Yes,it can be sold also,if they are of renamed brands,like Gucci etc and are of higher value,but in that case it is better to sell someone,you know,friends etc and not trying to sell online,as the costs are higher.
