As a teen (and thus underage), you have several limitations: you won't be accepted to websites like Clickworker and Mturk, and you may also have some issues trying freelance jobs. But that's not a good reason to give up!
First of all, since you don't have a credit card, you should open a Paypal account. You won't be able to verify it, meaning you'll have some restrictions (I believe there's a $2500 deposit limit and a $1000 withdraw limit), but you can still use that to receive money.

Also, if you're planning to earn something with Bitcoins, you may find a Bitcoin wallet useful. You can use Electrum or Copay on desktop, Mycelium for Android and Breadwallet for iOS. No age restrictions here.
That being said, let's get going

Sponsored: BeerSurveys.com - Earn 10$ per Day doing Tasks, Try Apps, Complete Surveys.
  • Tasks websites that don't need a credit card address: A lot of websites will pay you to perform various tasks and will pay you on Paypal or through gift cards. Here are some of them:
    • BeerMoneyForum: paid to post forum where you earn BMF Coins, exchange them for money. Pretty simple concept. You'll need to write a lot to earn a decent amount of cash, though, but it's fun and not too time-consuming. No age restrictions, and pays by Paypal: all you need is good grammar and a strong will.
    • Swagbucks: Your typical survey site. Works best in the US, but it also works in other countries. You can also watch videos or do other tasks. Pays out with GCs.
    • PrizeRebel: Same thing as Swagbucks, check this out if there's not much stuff available on it in your country (just use both of them to maximize profit). This one, too, pays out with gift cards.
  • Be creative: You claim you have no special skills, but what if you just don't know? Here are a few things you can do (you'll need some offline work, too, here):
    • Sell hand-made stuff on Etsy: Etsy is a great marketplace to sell hand-made stuff. You can make things related to videogames, movies or books you like, and then promote them over the Internet. Find your niche!
    • Make designs and sell merchandise: Same thing as Etsy, but this time you won't have to deal with manifacturing. Try Redbubble to sell all kinds of merchandise, or Teespring/YeeTee if you're aiming to sell garnments only.
    • Make art and sell prints: You'll need good drawing skills for this, so this may not be the right thing for you, but it's great to wake up your inner artists. If you post good art on websites like Tumblr or Deviantart, people may start to request prints of it: don't make them wait! If you can't find any local service that prints stuff, then use on-demand websites like Redbubble or Lulu.
    • Earn money with your smartphone: As a teenager, you probably spend a lot of time with your phone, right? Well, I'll let you know there are lots of apps you can use to earn some money, even if you don't have any special skill.
      • Perk: This is a passive earning app, you can leave it running while you study/do other stuff. There are a lot of things you can do there, like watch video ads, play with some of their games, or you can even use it on your lockscreen. Only pays through gift cards.
Also, even though this probably isn't the kind of online jobs you were looking for, you could check Craigslist or Kijiji and see if anyone near you is looking for some part-time workers (like dog sitting or tutoring).

Nice detailed article @PenguinManiac, but are you sure that the paypal limit is so low? I was under the impression that it was a little more, $1000 per year isn't very high.
I'm not completely sure, but I remember it used to be even lower (back in 2011, it was about $500), so I would not rule it out. I suppose it was set to decrease the possibilities of illegal activities being held there or to prevent freud.

If you have parents permission you can earn on InstaGC as well. I understand that they often have surveys aimed at people under 18 too which is a bonus as not all panels have surveys aimed at that age group as often. You can also watch videos and click on sites on InstaGC. You can get a $1 Amazon gift card for just 100 points too which is a huge bonus. Low cashouts mean you won't have to wait for long to get something out of it.

I think best way for teens to earn some cash is by getting involved with paid forums. The Forum Wheel and Postloop will allow you to participate in numerous forums where you get paid for posting comments of 3-4 sentences. You can also earn by selling your notes. There arr websites where you can upload your notes. When someone buys your notes, you get paid.

    • Bitit: I've only heard about it recently, but it's a great app to make some money with Bitcoins. You'll be payed to perform various simple tasks, like downloading apps, keeping some of them and using them every day and watching videos. You'll get credits for each task (downloading apps give the most, some of them could even give up to 500 credits), and you can start retrieving Bitcoins once you reach 500 credits (which roughly equal to 0.30 USD).
After you get some, you can either keep them as Bitcoins and use them online, or you can use them to buy gift cards (even Paypal GCs) on websites like Gyft.
    • Google Opinion Rewards: I have already named this on previous topics, but it's worth mentioning. You take surveys in exchange for Play Store credit, which you can later use to buy apps. (Also, if you get enough money, you could even buy things like charge cables, covers and, although unlikely, even smartphones. Who knows!
    • BestReviewApp/FreeMyApps: Review apps and get paid, as easy as it gets. The former pays on Paypal, whereas the latter only pays out with gift cards. You can also use them with old phones, and they work with both iOs and Android (4.1+).
    • Perk: This is a passive earning app, you can leave it running while you study/do other stuff. There are a lot of things you can do there, like watch video ads, play with some of their games, or you can even use it on your lockscreen. Only pays through gift cards.

Wow, these are very creative, I actually haven't heard about most of these methods, like "Bitit" and "Perk". In addition to that I would like to add another method of making money as a teen: Article Writing.

There is only a few websites that make article writing easier to do than other websites, such as iWriter:
It is very simple to get started with this website and earn money right away!

Teens or minors can do the job that we do online. With the legality, they can perhaps use their parent's identity like the credit card and even the name. Particularly for the posting of articles or blogs, some teens are better than adults although I don't find them that good in forums. So my advice is to get the consent of an adult - if the parent is not an option then maybe a relative or even a friend who would allow his name to be used. At least that is legal in any which way because the secret agreement is just between the teen and the adult. But as far as the earnings are concerned, that belongs to the adult.

Another way to earn with smartphone is by using FeaturePoints, where you can earn points by downloading and opening apps in your phone. It's available for both iOS and Android. You can cash out using PayPal or you can get rewarded with Amazon, iTunes or any other giftcards that are available.

You could also try out Gamesville. It's a site where you can play games and earn points. You can also win cash on that site .

I would recommend the following:

Rewards Sites - You can do quick tasks like downloading apps, answering surveys or just opening emails.

  • Swagbucks
  • Inbox Dollars
  • Quick Rewards
  • Cash Crate
Music Reviews - You just review songs and earn some cents after doing so.
  • SliceThePie
  • Music X-Ray
Unlocking your Phone Apps - Every time you unlock your screen, you earn some cents.
  • Fronto
  • SlideJoy
Photography - Earn money while taking pictures.
  • Foap
  • Snapwire
Earn by Searching - Whenever you use these search engines, you can earn a few cents.
  • Qmee
  • Screenwise Trends
Earn by Answering Questions - All you have to do is answer questions that are asked to you. But you would need to post the reference as well.
  • Weegy
Good luck!

I would recommend teens write articles for paying publications to make money online. Some paying travel publications include: Travel + Leisure; National Geographic Traveler; Sunset; Yankee Magazine; Literary Traveler; and The Expeditioner. If you live outside the U.S., perhaps you could give a local's insights on off-the-beaten-path attractions in your country. If you enjoy gardening, send your articles to Mother Earth News, Capper's, Green Prints, Small Farm Today, Back Home Magazine and Texas Gardener. Hope this helps.

The issue with this is any online job would require verification and to withdraw amounts from paypal becomes difficult.
I would suggest working offline in food chains or super markets where it's easy to earn a few bucks easily.

Well, I am actually 18 years old and I am studying, no time or experience to work so I started working on internet doing tasks and PTC sites, I opened a PayPal account and that is the way I am somehow making some income out of the internet, you can do many other things such as making youtube videos and many more, you just gotta be creative and ideas will come to your mind.

Which is the easiest job to make money online. I am sure there are many people who earn money through paid to click (PTC) sites. But the pay is too low to keep watching those ads. Moreover, there are many scammers in PTC field and I had a lot of bitter experiences in PTC field. I am looking for something that gives good payment but doesn't demand too much efforts to make.

I am member to a utility testing site called UsabilityHub. Here you will be asked to do various tasks like comparing two images, answering some questions based on a site's design or simple things like that. It may not take more than 20-30 seconds of your time and they pay $0.10 per task.

When you earn $20 you can ask for a PayPal payment. I got paid twice there. But there is a serious drawback, you can't have too many tasks available each day. In my case it is in the range of 3-4 tasks a day. But I am happy that I am not investing too much of my time and effort there.

I have tried PTC or the paid-to-click sites. I think the PTC is the easiest way to earn money online. All you need to do is click the icons and wait for the webpage to display in full before clicking again and again and again. However, I had developed mental fatigue with the excessive clicking that's why I quit without even reaching the minimum balance for withdrawal. Especially for those who do not want to think, you can click your way to the bank with PTC sites.

I think that everyone who tries to make money online will have had a go with PTC sites, often with zero success. If you are looking at the long term then they could be an option but even after a few years you're not going to be making anywhere near enough to retire on.

I'm not sure that there is an easy way to make money online to be honest, otherwise we would all be doing it. Taking surveys, PTC sites, microjobs, watching videos online, blog posting and article writing...all can make you some money, but you have to work at it and there's still no way to earn money for nothing, even in this day and age in my opinion.

The easiest job to do online and earn is paid to click, that is visiting websites. The issue here is the pay is down too small. I have worked and still working with a few PTC sites. If you put in more intellect you can write as freelancer online for paying sites like Fiverr, Upwork and many others. Some pay quite good but be sure to write quality articles.

You are very true. Everybody who wants to earn money without putting any pressure on brain choose PTC as the easiest online earning opportunity. But most of them turn scams in due course of time leaving your time and effort totally wasted.

In fact it happened to me too in the past when I happened to join a large number of PTC sites. I thought I could earn handsome money if I complete ad views in all those sites on a daily basis. But I was shocked when I realized that almost all of them were just scams and they never pay. So I left PTC field altogether and never looked back. It was a sheer waste of time and energy for me. Luckily I haven't invested any money from my pocket. Otherwise, I would have lost a lot of money too.

PTC are surely the easiest ways to earn money online. I've never tried them but I've read about them. The problem is that most of these sites don't have offers for some countries like where I come from. However, completing small jobs like in Microworkers and posting ads are some of the easy ways to earn money online that I've tried.
