The same scammer like last time, only this time is his new SCAM site that got posted by one of our members and of course, we were ranking on Google's front page and he is DDOS attacking all the sites that have reviews about his scam company. Nothing new!

Looks like scammers hate to be put in the spotlight. It is good that this forum is here to bring these bogus companies out in the open. It is a shame that these companies attack legitimate sites when they are identified.

Another DDOS attack, if I'm not wrong. I check some minutes ago and it was written on the site that Mr. B is restoring the last night backup. I can see that today's posts are not there so I think I'm not wrong. I hope everything is good now.

Is there nothing we can do to prevent the forum from these DDoS attacks? It's not the first time this has happened to us. I'm afraid it'll keep happening if we keep labeling sites/apps as scams...

(I asked this question earlier before the back-up, but I didn't get a chance to look at the answer before the messages were erased).

It's impossible to know a company is a scam before asking reviews about it.
The member that posted that review has no idea it's actually going to DDOS us because we ranked on Google 1st page.

When you become big and much bigger these DDOS ATTACKS will be more frequent in my opinion.
Just remember, there is a backup taken daily, we do suffer some loss but they will not stop us from exposing them.

And I hate to announce you guys, because I know Cloudflare annoys you by checking your browser but guess what, I disabled Cloudflare in the last days and it happens they start the DDOS right when we were not protected. From now on Cloudflare will be enabled 24/7. Because if it was enabled before the attack I doubt we were down or lose any posts today.

When a site becomes very informative, and people take reviews from it before joining aother sites, it also becomes a hard thing for scammers. BMF is strong and have strong security also. @Mr. B have much to do, this is his hardworking habit.

I did notice that Cloudflare was working for a long time and then all of sudden stopped. I was thinking it had to do with not needing to check each IP address. But I do know how it works and was wondering why it was disabled again. It might take a few seconds to check your browser and IP address, but that few seconds is well worth the time to protect the forum here and not lose posts or comments. I agree with Mr B this should always be enabled and people will get use to seeing it each time they come here.

This DDoS attack had made all of us affected; strong security is a must for a site like BMF which infors people which earning site is worth and which is scam/avoidable. Scammers do not want to get exposed, but for us, we will have to keep safe from scammers.

I noticed Cloudflare is not working today when I came here. Normally when I come in from my email account it will check the browser before it allows me in. Last night it seemed to be working fine and today it appears to be down. Not sure if it is working right now or not.

Cloudflare it's enabled, will never disable again, however, I made it so it will check your browser not so often if your IP is trusted.

This is good to know. I just saw it again and yes it is working for me. I'm glad that you won't disable this again. it is way too much work to have to deal with all the attacks and reinstalling the last backup on the site.

So, that scam company started another new site, so they may start many sites and scam people always? It's sad to know no one can take any actions to make the company close down.

I am fine with Cloudflare, though it takes a while to access the site, it helps to protect our site which is good for all of us. Thanks @Mr. B for putting all the effort.

Anyone who write reviews and runs a site has to worry about this. Even on the website I see spam comments all the time and people angry with a review that was written. In cases like this company they are in the business to make as much money off a person as they can before they close up and move on to a new site. They don't want to be caught before they have time to rip people off for as much as they can.
