Small private stores are stores that belong to individuals and not to a group (for example : ALDI or Lidl in europe), there are always big supermarkets that are opening here and there which is reducing the chance for those stores to sell something .
Do you think that these smalk stores will disappear someday?

Yeah, that would be a great idea that store owners develop into larger stores or supermarkets. Especially in areas where development is increasing and population is growing.
Yeah! They should probably introduce online services into their businesses as part of expansion. In this digital era, there is a need to flow with the trend.

That is right. I read somewhere that in the near future, businesses that don't have an online business will be obsolete. Many people this days just go online, see what they want to buy then order. You business should be promoted online so as to thrive in future.

Online business and offline business are both necessary considering the category of people we are currently though online business has more potentials than offline because the awareness is increasing and people loves ease.

I see no reason why the online and offline version of small businesses cannot exist side by side. Till some time to come, we will still have those who will never order a thing online but prefer to walk into a store.
that what not the thread is made for my friend, i was just asking that with the existence of bigger modern stores, will that affect the existence of small ones

Sorry derailed a bit. However, small stores too can ensure their existence with the adoption of a little bit of modernization to their ways of operation.

small stores can never disapear, this is a good business that can enable the middle man buy what he can afford to buy and get it quick, there is nothing wrong by setting up a big store if you have the money, some stores need good amount of money to be restructured,I dont like small stores but its help in times of need.

I agree to small stores not going anywhere, but it wouldn't be a bad idea for them to add some touchups to their ode of operations I think.

It is crucial issue in my country. Small store is shrinking because of of convenient store invasion in residential area

Yes,we can see that almost all the grocery items are available online and you can get them on your door step within a day or two!

there are always people that don't use internet, such as old people for example, so there's no way for them to buy online, they still contribute in the long life of those stores, not only that, but some items can't be purchased in internet because they are available near you and you won't have to wait for shipping or anything like that

Mate, exclude the exceptions,I am talking about the majority of the public, which is the new generation, they will prefer everything coming to their doorstep just with one click!

Small stores will continue to stay. Not everyone can be buying heir goods in large stores. Small stores are located all over the streets and are easily accessible. Besides, one can buy as little item that he wants from them unlike big stores that sell items in bulk.

Yes, they really do help in times of dire need. Sometimes you just want to buy something quick and you can't go to the supermarket and make that long queue at the cashier's desk or you can't order online because it will take time for delivery. Small store are so convinient during such times.

Existence or establishment of big supermarkets and shopping malls doesn't stop small stores from making their own sales as well. Not every body have the financial capacity of going to malls, some prefer going to small stores to get what they need.

small private stores are very helpful mostly in time of need if you need a small stuff to buy there is no way you can go into big stores to deal with it so I think that small stores help a middle man to survive and buy what is within his range.

Exactly, imagine someone wanted to buy one tin of peak milk and a sachet of Milo and an 100 naira bread, will someone because of that go to a shopping mall? That's a capital NO! Take it or leave it, small stores will surely continue to exit even in the advent of big supermarket and shopping malls.

Some think buying those things online is easier, but if you look at it critically, these small stores are the most convenient places to get goods. Like you said, they are always readily available on most streets. Not everyone has the patience to wait for goods to be delivered to them from these big stores. It will even take time.

In my place, small stores are facing the problem that you've mentioned above. The competition with big supermarkets are high and people prefer to go there because they're also looking for better shopping experience despite the price sometimes a bit pricey. Supermarkets inside a big mall are even more popular here because mall is a one stop shopping and people love to spend their time there.
