PayPal is one of the giant companies when it comes to world of payment processors. It is the greatest company in the world, which is offering the service of sending and receiving money. The relationship of PayPal with cryptocurrencies is very intriguing. The payment processor never allowed its account holders to trade in cryptocurrencies. Even right now, you could risk your account getting banned if you try to deal in cryptocurrencies as there are many restrictions regarding usage of PayPal when it comes to dealing in cryptocurrencies using PayPal! Despite all this, the payment processor is anticipated to launch its own stablecoin known as "PayPal Coin". So, when can we expect it to get launched?

That was way in the past, PayPal now allows deposits and even conversions from one currency to another. So you can deposit your coins and change it to PayPal and vice versa. I have not heard anything about creating a coin though.
i think we no power what we can really do is that, if decision is done not in our favor, we can find ways and means not to use it in our transaction. I think if coin is to be created, alert wound have been given to the public before.

When PayPal launch their stable coin I feel it would be used in the platform , thereby creating more simple and easier withdrawal process and others ,hopes they really lay more emphasis on that in the first place

They really have never said anything about it and I believe they will never launch one they are more into Crypto now because crypto is the future not the hasty stablecoins that provide low returns actually indeed .

Till now they're yet to bring it tò light. i don't think paypal would want to have a cryptocurrencies to their name no matter how they're being pressured to do so..they won't bow to it.. moreover even if they eventually create it, what guarantees it would be available to people in some other countries where paypal is restricted? Would the coin also have country restrictions or because it's a blockchain product so you think there'd be no such thing?

I am not really into Paypal,so if they should even decide to do this, it would not benefit me in any way. There is currently a limitation in the use of PayPal in my country. We can easily send from paypal but cannot receive.

There are some countries where PayPal and crypto both are not available like Iran and debit card companies charge a high rates to users for their services so hardly people have any digital banking account indeed actually .

If they actually launch a stable coin today ,it would be good because it would actually put them ahead of their competitors in some type of way ,I really hope they go by this idea and actually keen on launching the stable coin

There is no need of PayPal having stable coin. PayPal uses USSD and USSD is already stable. Most times, some of these platforms do not really based on crypto. There are Payoneer and other like that, do not want to deal with cryptocurrency.

I wish PayPal could start by lowering their high standards to a lower bar. Right now, so many of us have lost our accounts and cannot use even these new features that they are starting. But it is great that they are now accepting crypto currencies and want to have their own stable coin.
You should have asked to whose benefits will the adoption of stable coins be? I don't thinking the investors have much to gain since the dollar is what they used in PayPal operation and USDT as well is a dollar form token. Then of what essence will the project be to the investors?

I was wondering what is the use of a stable PayPal coin, will it be used to reward those that use PayPal or what? USD is as stable as any coin could be, so I don't see any need of creating another currency like it.

The fact is that PayPal doesn't really want to have crypto as one of its options. It only found itself there as much demand from its customers. The main reason is that most payment options especially the mainframe ones don't like using crypto because of controversy that surround it.

If PayPal launch their stable coin, I don't think people will patronize. They already have stable currency for exchange, and they are against crypto currency, and the transaction rate is much. Well, they can see users when they reduce the price of their stable coin very well.

PayPal being a very popular and reliable financial payment institution would really do well if they eventually get to launch their own stable coin, and it will also receive massive adoption by the public due to the reputation that PayPal has, so it's a welcome development.

PayPal has launched the PayPal USD since August of this year. It is pegged against the USD and would be fairly stable. We are waiting to see how this Coin would be adopted and how it would affect the financial operations of PayPal. For now, kudos to PayPal for recognizing the and entering the crypto world.

Wow, I haven't heard about this, that's very good, at least they have already built up a communities and audience that can be use their native coin as the means of sending transaction, that's very nice.

One can easily convert dollars to the PayPal USD within the PayPal system itself. And also, one can use the PayPal USD to buy every other crypto through the PayPal eco system. I am sure many American financial institutions are also thinking of toeing that line too.

It's a fair projects, but wait, you said, one can use the PayPal USD to buy every other cryptocurrency through the PayPal ecosystem. You mean PayPal also have the option for buying and selling of digital currency !

I don't think paypal will release a stablecoin known as "paypal coin" in terms of short time. But i might be consider paypal coin as one of my payment option if they exist
