I have never thought about it,but I think it might be a good idea if teachers would talk about Bitcoin in the schools.Although I think that many teachers are not aware of what Bitcoin means...
My point is , people who study in universities / schools in which they teach a lot of economy should probably be aware of what bitcoin is . Teachers should probably explain to them what it is , how it is changing the world and stuff, what are the advantages of it and disadvantages.Children will not appreciate something that they cannot comprehend. When you learn in school that gold is valuable and that you can actually mine it, did you even dare to mine it for yourself? Same with bitcoin, even if you explain it to them, they will just ignore it. So there's no point in teaching them about bitcoin at all.
Now I get. But I think only the first world country will have the capacity to implement such thing because they have the better technologies and more resources to begin with. Third world countries are always reluctant to new technologies and concepts, so it would take some time before they finally embraced the whole idea regarding bitcoin. My point is , people who study in universities / schools in which they teach a lot of economy should probably be aware of what bitcoin is . Teachers should probably explain to them what it is , how it is changing the world and stuff, what are the advantages of it and disadvantages.
Yeah but do you know when they will want to learn what it is? When they hear the price of 1 BTC Bitcoin is a popular topic nowadays in newspapers and other stuff and I think it should be known to teachers who teach economy and stuff.I have never thought about it,but I think it might be a good idea if teachers would talk about Bitcoin in the schools.Although I think that many teachers are not aware of what Bitcoin means...
yes, kids should know what is bitcoin, what is blockchain, then there will be a genius kids create new altcoins named KIDS-Coin and scamming people with fake ico progress
Sounds reasonable. I think commerce and the business administration student should learn it. Becuase it sounds like something they can benefit from. You can see that there are some of the international banks taking interest in BTC and the lumens. So this does sound like a good idea. I wonder how it would be taught though, like who has expertise in it.I think Bitcoin should be teached in school but in Universities. Lets considered it as a subject. Wherein students can choose either to take it or not. Its not a pre- requisite to other subjects. Its a good thing students would understand about bitcoin. A preparation for the real world. Knowledge is power.
True that, but you know new books that are being created could be potentially having information about bitcoin. By books I mean economy/business books.Hopefully countries in which bitcoin is legitimate would allow books with bitcoin info inside. If teacher could have some decision power then maybe, but the teaching plan is from government. And currently the plan in my country is over crowded so that there is no time leftover.
