How To Make Money Playing Video Games.jpg

Everybody loves playing pc games, don't you? Wouldn't it be cool if you could just sit all day and play games on your pc while you also make enough money to live from it? Everybody would like that and I want to tell you that is possible, but as always it's not going to be easy. To get to the point where you can make a living out of playing video games it takes talent and hard work. Today I am going to show you a few ways you could make money from playing video games. Let's get started.

1) Livestreams
One of the methods to make money out of playing video games is to make live streams on platforms like Twitch or YouTube gaming and get paid by monetizing you live with ads or by receiving donations from your fans. Even though at the beginning this might sound quite easy, it a lot harder than you think it is. It may take months to even get 100 persons to watch you regularly and you will not really make until you have at least 1000 people who constantly watch your livestreams. So it could take a few months, maybe year to build an audience but once you get it money will start coming.

2) Join tournaments with cash prizes
Now, this method is mostly for the pros because if you are just a normal person who plays CS:GO 1 hour a day you will never going to be able to participate in tournaments to earn money. First of all you need to join an esport organization. That's pretty hard to do because you have to play a lot of hours until people are going to start noticing your talent. After that, you will join a team of other players and compete with other teams in tournaments for real money. The prizes will be different depending on how popular the games is and what level you are playing at.

3) Sell your skills
If you think you are better than average people when you play a popular video game and you have created your own strategies and know exactly how the game works then you could sell this knowledge. You probably wonder how is that possible. Well there are beginner players who are ready to pay other persons to play on their account in order to boost their rank or level. Also you can create a guide with different strategies or techniques and sell it.

4) Create a blog
This method can be used when a new game is released and it becomes popular very quickly. If you already played the game for a while and you have enough information that you could share with other people than do it. Post articles about tips and tricks to help people improve their skills in that game. If your articles are unique and the game is popular you will quickly gather a big audience since people will promote your blog for free. As soon as you get some traffic coming you can monetize it and make some money.

I'm not sure how many people here like to make videos on YouTube. I now a few people do have a YouTube channel. This takes a lot of time, work, and practice to make a good video to share on there.

if you do that just for the money, you're gonna have a tough time achieving success. some people are just meant for this or they enjoy a lot.. but if doing it just for the money, there are higher chances to fail because you will want to quit editing videos the whole day after some time

Definitely right! Working just for money will make it more tiring. But if one is enjoying his work, he will always come up with great ideas.

I'm still searching for methods like that but I am not successful with finding any that pays well for playing video games and are legit or may be they are not available for worldwide users.

Yes, it may take time for one to promotes his videos and be viewed by many. Social media is there, that is one of the good place where one can promote his videos. He can also do it on groups on games where he is playing.

This is the same with any new online website, eCommercial store, YouTube, FB, Twitter account. It all takes time to meet people, make friends, and find a gathering that loves to follow you around.

Since no one has mentioned it, I would like to add Refereum to your possible options. If you are a streamer on Twitch, you can link your Twitch account to Refereum and for every person who watches your stream for one hour, you will get one Refereum point.

That is true. Unless you make
the best videos of games with entertainment which will attract the viewers even without promoting it.

I think people these days started recording the levels of the games. And that gives other people some idea and it leads to more or less the struggle of the video gaming industry on the youtube. so lot of competition there as well.

Yes. Since uploading videos of games became popular, many also adapted this method to make money on youtube. There's alot of pattern there that can be a guide for beginners.

There has always been a competition on YouTube. Today I find more and more really young kids making their own videos.

What I hate about some of the videos is the way they talk, take forever to get to the point, and then make a mess of the videos.

If you want to do this it is a good idea to limit the talking to the game and get right to the point. Make it interesting and make it interactive too.

If the video is not interesting and right to the point,I don't think that will have very much success.I am watching only interesting videos, which are making sense, and are either entertaining ,either I can learn something from it...

What gets me on these videos some young kids make it the fact they think they are funny and telling us something. When in fact they are horrible and don't get to the point. There are times I search for tearing apart a laptop because the manufacture won't give this to us. Well if you like to spend 45 min to listen to a kid talk you can do this. The videos I need to find are not easy and most of them are done by kids who think they are wizards at something. Sad but true.

Exactly, you have to make
your video interesting and entertaining so the viewers will be attracted to play and suscribe to your channel.

If you videos on how you play the game is really excellent, i am pretty sure that those who was able to watch it has a big chance that they will share it to their friends and co gamers.

I have seen some interesting video games on the Youtube channel.Till then I didn't know, that people are making videos how to play efficiently video games to reach higher levels, and those videos had many views...

If a game is really famous and people
are looking for strategies for better playing it, youtube will be the first site that will come into their mind to watch for it.

You can also earn money money online by becoming a game tester. There are many official gaming websites that pay you for testing their games. But it requires a gaming laptop or personal computer and fluency in English.
