How To Make Money Playing Video Games.jpg

Everybody loves playing pc games, don't you? Wouldn't it be cool if you could just sit all day and play games on your pc while you also make enough money to live from it? Everybody would like that and I want to tell you that is possible, but as always it's not going to be easy. To get to the point where you can make a living out of playing video games it takes talent and hard work. Today I am going to show you a few ways you could make money from playing video games. Let's get started.

1) Livestreams
One of the methods to make money out of playing video games is to make live streams on platforms like Twitch or YouTube gaming and get paid by monetizing you live with ads or by receiving donations from your fans. Even though at the beginning this might sound quite easy, it a lot harder than you think it is. It may take months to even get 100 persons to watch you regularly and you will not really make until you have at least 1000 people who constantly watch your livestreams. So it could take a few months, maybe year to build an audience but once you get it money will start coming.

2) Join tournaments with cash prizes
Now, this method is mostly for the pros because if you are just a normal person who plays CS:GO 1 hour a day you will never going to be able to participate in tournaments to earn money. First of all you need to join an esport organization. That's pretty hard to do because you have to play a lot of hours until people are going to start noticing your talent. After that, you will join a team of other players and compete with other teams in tournaments for real money. The prizes will be different depending on how popular the games is and what level you are playing at.

3) Sell your skills
If you think you are better than average people when you play a popular video game and you have created your own strategies and know exactly how the game works then you could sell this knowledge. You probably wonder how is that possible. Well there are beginner players who are ready to pay other persons to play on their account in order to boost their rank or level. Also you can create a guide with different strategies or techniques and sell it.

4) Create a blog
This method can be used when a new game is released and it becomes popular very quickly. If you already played the game for a while and you have enough information that you could share with other people than do it. Post articles about tips and tricks to help people improve their skills in that game. If your articles are unique and the game is popular you will quickly gather a big audience since people will promote your blog for free. As soon as you get some traffic coming you can monetize it and make some money.

Record so called "Let's Play Videos" and upload them on YouTube, you'll be notified as soon as you're eligible to monetize your videos... now you literally start to make money on YouTube, because people watch you're videos must watch ads too, from here comes your share. :)

YouTube said:
What can't I monetize?
Without the appropriate license from the publisher, use of video game or software user interface must be minimal. Video game content may be monetized if the associated step-by-step commentary is strictly tied to the live action being shown and provides instructional or educational value.

Videos simply showing a user playing a video game or the use of software for extended periods of time may not be accepted for monetization.

There are some sites that will pay you for playing. You can also open a You Tube channel where you will post your game plays. Or you can open your own web site where you are going to write posts about video games.

I believe that you can stream on Twitch and gain a viewerbase to earn online income. After that, you may upload the videos onto YouTube which might be a viable source of income if you manage to get a good amount of viewers.

That's more or less influencer marketing than playing games. I know some of them who are into playing games. They play decent videos games and not much something extra ordinary. I think it can be really good though. It's a hard work. And often may not pay out. I know many twitch users who are not yet pewdiepie. Becaue they are into just gaming and aare not opening up much to public.

Yes, it is pretty hard to succeed at this. Having a great character does help instead of just streaming gameplay. I mean viewers prefer to watch pro gamer stream over newcomers anyway.

If you have much skill at playing video games, you can just record or stream it. I suggest to get live with your gameplay at Youtube or Twitch. At twitch, for each subscriber, you'll get some revenue. It will increase gradually.
In your opinion, Youtube or Twitch is better? Will there be an issue with copyrights if we play music?

you can record yourself playing games and start upload videos to your youtube channel, and keep playing new games

Some companies would pay you to try their video game. They want to know the pros and cons of it. As a result they will pay you for your time. This is some easy money. It's like getting paid to have fun.

Indeed, this is every Gamers dream! Here is how you can make money by doing what you enjoy. Record videos of you of gaming and upload them to YouTube. You need to grow a audience(10,000 views) before you can put ads on any of your YouTube Videos. Good luck!

THere is a website i think it is playforcrypto it pays cryptocurrency to plat the snake game. But earning is way too low.
It's like playing 30-40 mintes to earn 2-3 cents so i got a payment but left it as it is slow earning.

There are some bitcoin sites that offe games and then pay you you for some bitcoins. Neobux also offers games in exchange for some cents, You can play up to 250 sessions per day (2minutes per session to credit).

Also there are some web games when you can earn some money. The only one i have played of this type was one called Dungeons & Treasures but never reached the minimum to cashout.
If you're interested in beta testing i think you can apply here https://www.vmc.com/games/GBTN_Testers/ and pray

How much do they pay for everygames we play? What is their minimum cash out? is that the only offer for earning or there are more offers that we can do like referral programs?

There are some some of the youtube creators who do the live gaming video session. and it seems to be helping them with donations. and that may not be easier though. some people do make good money into this. earning some regular income from this takes time. you can rest assure that youtube has openend more doors for people to earn money. and it seems to be working for many. though earning regularly would be harder. but it's definitely doable.
