Assuming you know what are the Faucets and you already know what is a PTC , i will try to explain here which micro earning website is better than the other and why.
Both, faucets and PTCs are considered micro earning websites because the earnings are not very high. The difference between each other is not on payments (bitcoin or dollars) but in the amount you can earn from each type of website daily or in a month.

Faucets
Claiming on a faucet is better than PTC because the daily earnings are not limited . The more you stay online the more your earnings are. There are many types of faucets and each type can have different timers and rewards so it is almost impossible to say how much someone can earn from a faucet in a day because it depends on:
-time you can spend online
-reward given on every claim (this also depends on the price of bitcoin and increasing TX fees to send the withdrawals)
Many faucets has a minimum withdraw set to 10000 satoshi or 15000 or even 50000 because of the price now ($2700) of the bitcoin. Faucets with minimum 100,000 satoshi (100k satoshi) and higher are susceptible for scamming ,so do your research on internet before start to to claim on such faucets with 100k satoshi as minimum withdraw. You will need to look for recently payment proofs.
Right now 10000 satoshi is worth $0.26 and withdrawing low amounts is way better than waiting on a PTC to make the minimum allowed to withdraw.
So from time to time you can withdraw your work on faucets. Better withdraw more often small amounts from a faucet than waiting for the bigger amount on a PTC.
Faucet admins are paid for the displayed banners by the ad networks and only getting paid in bitcoin will make a faucet to survive the higher prices of the bitcoin. If a faucet admin chooses an ad network which pays in dollars then the faucet is doomed to bankruptcy if pays in bitcoin due to conversion rate.
Faucet websites depends on the ad networks and visitors/claimers on the website.
The earnings may be variable, depends on bitcoin price as well but higher than PTCs for sure.
Probability of a faucet to be scam is way lower than a ptc.

PTCs
Paid-to-Click websites depends only, or 95% on the advertisers purchased campaigns . The 5% of an extra income can be from displaying banners from ad networks.
About 98% of the PTCs on internet are paying in dollars (USD) and only 2% of the PTCs are paying in cryptocurrency (bitcoin ).
The daily earnings on a ptc are limited because a ptc has usually around 20 ads to view. Maybe 2 or 3 more new ads are randomly displayed if someone is buying a new campaign. A stable ptc daily earning' is around $0.02-0.04 (as total from all the ads viewed) but with a faucet you can earn more. If a PTC is new and is offering even $0.1 or more per ad then definitely will scam people.
The regular minimum withdraw on a ptc is $2 but most of the ptcs increases this amount in steps by $2 so by the time you spent (almost 1 year) to gather the $10 minimum allowed ,the ptc is very likely to shut down/dissapear . Not to mention about the upgrade plans on PTCs which are very tempting for their admins .
Probability of a PTC to turn into a scam is very high unless that PTC is a bitcoin based ptc.
The PTCs which are working only with bitcoin can also become a scam or go bankrupt because depends mainly on campaigns purchased by people.

So, in given time, let's say 6 months , in this period you will have more satoshis (valued as dollars) in your online wallet from faucets ,then money saved from a PTC earned for free.
Faucets can have unlimited earnings per day but the ptcs don't.
Being paid in bitcoin is much better (even if you earn daily the same amount in $ from a ptc too) because if you have saved 2$ in bitcoin in your wallet, after 2 months those $2 can turn into $5, which is great for you.
Bitcoin grows so fast, faster then any bank's interest.
By the time you have saved minimum withdraw on a ptc ready for a pending, that PTC can turn into a scam or ban you without a reason. There are many complaints on internet from people getting banned from a PTC without a solid reason.
All in all, if you want to earn money online and you need to choose between a dollar-paying-ptc and a faucet ,i'd suggest you to choose the faucet .
If you need to choose between a dollar-paying-ptc and a bitcoin-paying-ptc then i suggest to choose the last one ,the bitcoin-paying-ptc.

Feel free to discuss which one you think is better or worse than the other, a faucet or a ptc and why .
Thank you

You can do a Google search and also find them on various microwallet websites, such as FaucetHub and FaucetSystem. There's also a couple of mobile apps available if you search in the store.

Okay thank you! I will search for it. It is good to know that there are mobile apps to use, because I only use mobile most of the time. I should have known this earlier. Thanks for the information.

Wow!! I was imagining about something like this today. I waz wondering if it was possible to set a faucet to automatically run on it's own without having to visit it. Now I know it is possible thanks to your post. I will search more about a rotator. :D

Sorry if I misled you - you'll still have to actually click through the Captcha etc for each faucet - the rotator won't actually do all the work for you! :)

Ohh thanks for clarifying. So what is the difference between someone who is using a rotator and the one who is manually doing the work?

All it means is that the rotator loads the faucets for you and you usually just click a 'forward' button to move onto the next one. Most rotators are pre-loaded with dozens of faucets for you to choose from. Also, many rotators come with timers meaning you won't have to keeping visiting faucets to see if it's time to claim again. They can really speed up the claiming process.

I see. :D That is really convenient and I guess I will have to try it out for myself. Increasing points will be much more easier with this.

For me, faucet is better way. Because when you work on real faucet you got your earning right away on your wallet or microwallet. I don't like sites who call himself faucet and have some condition for cash out, this is not real faucet for my opinion, this is classic ptc sites. In other hands, work on ptc sites is so uncertain. In the beginning when i start work online i work on over 100 ptc sites over 4 month and cashout zero $$ :D

lol :D sorry. I have also ever worked on ptc sites and never cashed out anything. I never knew about paid to post forums back then.

Same here. I have worked on many ptc sites back then before I learned about paid to post program. Thanks to that youtube review because that lead me to postloop, and from postloop to bmf, FC and FFU.

Nice. The first I knew was forumwheel. I learned about it from a blog. I started searching for a similar site like forumwheel and I found postloop. Someone mentioned beermoney, forumcoin and mylot in a conversation and that is how I knew them.

I also join TFW, But I was not approved there, I am also on mylot though I rarely visit the site because for me it is quite slow to earn.

well aside from forum writing, i want to try faucets too, but i am still learning how to get decent amount from it. But between ptc and faucet, i think faucet is better.

From all the payment proofs I have seen, I also believe faucet is better. Apart from posting in forums, I am focusing more on article writing because I love writing and I also want to improve my writing skills.

I've noticed that the PTC sites are starting to move more towards BTC based payments and ad buys, which honestly makes a lot more sense and is a lot better for non-US/EU based folks due to the decentralized payment mechanism.

Agree in general that building referrals is the way to go on generating decent income. I use my click/faucet $ to reinvest in affiliate ads.

Hello BMF,
How do faucet work. Anybody with a brief but detail insight of how i can maximize on that.

Can they fetch 50$ a day if i signup to a tonne of them.

It's highly unlikely that you'll earn that much from faucets unless you have a very large referral network. Faucets only pay a small amount of Satoshi per claim (30-50 on average, although there are still a few higher paying ones out there).
You'll need to consider other methods if that's your target daily earnings.

It depends. I would say PTC is better than than faucet but that is my personal opinion. I think some people prefer faucets and some others prefer using PTC, it's down to preference.

Faucets are more profitable only when btc rate in Usd goes high to high without dropping ,such as if 1 btc = 6000$ then 1k Satoshi =0.06$ its a profitable more if you have lots of referrel whereas ptc are limited and do not worth to try if you are not from developed countries like USA where high pay ads available inly for them !!.
I am in faucet only ;Thanx !!.

As for referral earnings, 90% of free online earners click advertisements in bitcoin PTC sites everyday compare to 10% of free online earners claiming only once everyday in bitcoin faucets when they login just to not get their account suspended. An average of 10 advertisements clicks in bitcoin PTC site is about 100 satoshi while the average 1 claim in bitcoin faucet site is about 50 satoshi. If you have 10 active referrals in 10 bitcoin PTC sites, that's about 200 satoshi (20% of 1,000 [an average referral earnings in bitcoin PTC site]) while if you have 10 active referrals in 10 bitcoin faucet sites, that's about 150 satoshi (25% of 500 [an average referral earnings in bitcoin faucet site]). Every month, your referral earnings in 10 bitcoin PTC sites with 10 active referrals each is about 60,000 satoshi while your referral earnings in 10 bitcoin faucet sites with 10 active referral each is only about 45,000 satoshi. That's a difference of 15,000 satoshi. You can make a living clicking advertisements in bitcoin PTC sites nor in claiming everyday in bitcoin faucet sites unless you have active referrals.

I have experienced both and their differences is minor, the only advantages in faucet is that daily limit is not, the more you can claim the more you get

I see that Faucet works better. PTC is also good, greater earning lies on active referrals, giving you passive income. This is also true to some forum sites that offer earnings from referrals.
Me too im using faucet, but sometimes im continuing using PTC if I have a spare time.if you want me to vote faucet or PTC I choose faucet cause its easy to use.

For me, i would choose faucet, why? because you can work on many faucets that will combine your claiming to one wallet, and that way, it will be easier for you to reach the payout.
