❓ASK Can someone STEAL your Bitcoins?

I don't know much about Bitcoins, to be frank I don't even have a Bitcoin wallet or how they call it.

Is possible that someone could steal your Bitcoins from your account?

I think, that people, who have many Bitcoins in their wallet, have to take some extra security measures, for the safety of their Bitcoins.I think people with less cryptocurrencies in their wallet do not have to worry about it,because those persons doing unethical things are aiming for a large amount of Bitcoins and do not care about 10,000 or 50,000 satoshis.

ha ha this question sounds funny to me though I'm not sure its possible or not, if your bitcoin earning account/ wallet will be hacked then there would be possibility to steal bitcoins I guess.

Well, I think the best way to not get hacked is having an offline wallet so that you are the only one who could use it. You could also try the Ledger Nano S. I am trying to buy that as soon as possible just so that I would have a (USB)Wallet dunno how to explain it ahaha

I dont know exactly if u really can lose ur bitcoins but i think it will be very hard, only u can lose tgem if u given them to untrust person or by fishing, but getting them hacked will still be hard to be done

A bitcoin on your wallet can be stolen if you will give all your information to a certain websites, for here in Philippines, there was an incident that his wallet has been zero for some website had stolen by pretending to give free mining peso in exchange for giving the information of the wallet such as the email ad and all. But aside from that incident, virtual wallet is safe.

it is possible. specially when your using a not secured wallet for your bitcoins. i am using coinbase at coin.ph, coin.ph is a local wallet catering for Filipino. so better check if your wallet is safe or not. hackers are allover now.

These days wallets are having security issues. so be very caareful and have some sort of wallet backups. you can have that for most of the desktop wallets. I think that can in turn save you a lot of time and money. I'd say avoid web and mobile based wallts and have desktop wallets.

If companies like apple can be hacked, anyone can be hacked. Why not just distribute your bitcoins and put them in many wallets to be safe.

Its possible yes, so be careful where you login, or sites that you visit especially where bitcoin is involved. Check the sites , the emails that u receive regarding bitcoin. Wherein they attempt to get your login information and transfer money to their own account

Just now, NiceHash, a bitcoin mining company lost 60 million USD because someone stole it.

The answer is yes and no. No one can steal your crtyo currency from your account aslong as you have all of the security in place, ie passwords and two factor authentication. If you don't, there is a chance they could hack into your account with brute force, yes

Yes. If the btc wallet you are
using is not
secured enough, there is a possibility that your bitcoin can be stole. I use 2 authentication password to get the full security for my btc wallet.

Yes,I have read too about having authentication passwords can be a good security measure for your wallet.I think though, that people, who have more Bitcoins in their wallet have to think about it mostly, because they are mostly targeted.

Very certain that it's a yes, I heard that there are some virus that will change the btc address when you make transaction and don't pay attention, which results in the money sent to a different person.

It is impossible for another person to steal your bitcoin if you don't give them your details. Bitcoin is very secure with the introduction of private key and passphrase. with the two, no one can steal your btc

There are some of the scams out there where they tell you about we will generate the bitcoins for you, just pay us 0.20 btc. And then get 0.60 btc. In reality those sort of the generators are nothing but scam. So you should be very careful about spending your money be it bitcoin or any other very carefully.

If you are using secure wallets like coinbase , blockchain , there is no chance of bitcoins getting lost . But you cant trust the exchangers to deposit bitcoins other than the reputed ones like yobit . Set a strong password , change it every week , and you are away from any bitcoin thieves.

My answer is YES! Eversince I got started someone stole my Bitcoin worth 50$.That time Bitcoin price is not that tough. But of course 50$ is not easy to earned. Its my fault anyway because that time I was very new to this platform. An email sent to me and without knowing first I did click one the link that has been sent to and in a matter of second my Bitcoin lost.
After that I get to be aware of everything and never trust anyone anymore.
