I think we need to capitalize on Bitcoin while we have the opportunity. Nobody knows what the future holds. Especially about bitcoin. Therefore, it is also important to correctly calculate all possible risks.

Gold is more save in my opinion and very easier to predict being a long time trade asset but bitcoin is unpredictable. I prefer gold to bitcoin but if I had the opportunity I will invest in both.

I really think he is speaking from the fast and high returns that can be got from bitcoin not really about how safe the investment is. I should say that bitcoin is way more 'people friendly' than gold. Almost everyone can have a part of btc but gold is more at the level of the wealthy.

I am not sure if i would agree with that entirely. I think gold is still stronger because more people believe in it as it is physical and you can actually obtain it. Bitcoin is digital and many people don't buy into it yet. I think the potential is there though.

Yeah when it comes to global reputation gold has it already because many wealthy people believe in it but certainly bitcoin is fast competing to beat gold .

Gold like you said I'd physical and has the trust of people but then based on the current market cap , Bitcoin outperforms it because of new investors that have been added to Bitcoin

Bitcoin's performance is attractive but many people still see bitcoin's success as fleeting, so these set of people will put a stake on gold first before considering bitcoin.

I agree with you. In fact there are many people that i speak to that do not expect bitcoin and crypto to last very long and therefore this is why people tend to turn to physical entities such as gold. In my opinion, the best way to bridge this gap is to educate people of crypto.

That is exactly the reaction I get from some people. They try to rationalize the fact that we call what cannot be held an asset. It gets tiring going into digital assets and stuff to enlighten them more.

The brothers might be right but this is also their business. Don't trust them. A man in real estate will tell you that real estate is the way to go, etc. Hedge your bets, diversify your portfolio. Most importantly be able to make money again because if you can get rich once you can do it again.

However, I do not believe in an abstruse forecast of a drastic increase in the value of this cryptocurrency up even to $ 100,000!
After all, gold is an existing material that is possiblt "touch with hand", something that instead, Bitcoin isn't.

That makes sense. In todays society bitcoin is valuable as a currency but when as soon as people lose confidence then what? It's really just an illusion albeit a better illusion than Fiat.

Granted that it is very tiring. The way that i generally use to convince people is to simply show them the price changes, its value and the amount that i have and what i have purchased with my crypto. Physical purchases speak more to its value for them i think.

Now, that is a very nice suggestion and I will try doing that henceforth. I must confess that people are getting aware of bitcoin and the other cryptos even faster nowadays.

This is true, however do you not feel that with gold your options are more limited whereas if you are invested in bitcoin, you have much more options as your trading possibilities extend to the entire crypto region with a vast number of coins and tokens?

Well he still has fact but majory I will choose bitcoin than gold because a large number of exchange site accepts its use and it can be easily moved

His statement is true to an extent. Bitcoin is more flexible and costlier than gold. But gold has stood the test of time and will do so in generations to come.
