The co-founder of the Gemini crypto exchange , Winklevoss believes that Bitcoin beats gold at its own game.
On September 21 , he tweeted the following , " Bitcoin is better at being gold than gold and not just incrementally, but by an order of magnitude or 10X better,"

What do you think of this claim considering the present challenges with Bitcoin

His statement is true to an extent. Bitcoin is more flexible and costlier than gold. But gold has stood the test of time and will do so in generations to come.
This is also true. Gold is guaranteed to be around in generations and generations to come, however should the demand for bitcoin and other crypto diminish with time, the crypto world may altogether disappear. I do understand your viewpoint on this. thank you for sharing it.

The disappearance of Crypto currencies is kinda not possible to come anytime soon because lots of big institutions and individuals has invested huge into the project.

That is true that there has been many investments, however there are also many countries that are not open to crypto as it can be used with criminal intent. If this list of countries continues to grow, this may adversely affect the existence of crypto, do you not think so?

Yes, you know technology advances every moment and brings new innovations around. I do ask myself if Bitcoin can still survive the next 5 generations. If it does, what about other altcoins?

Honestly, this is the year 2020, it should not be news that bitcoin is way way better than Gold. Bitcoin is less stable than gold, but i would rather invest in bitcoin than buying Gold, Investing in Gold will give you less profit but with less risk, gold is for low rist takers, bitcoin is for high risk takers.

Very interesting point. With bitcoin gaining the most attention i think that altcoins are likely to disappear before bitcoin. The smaller altcoins anyway. But altcoins like ethereum and litecoin may survive as long as bitcoin.

Ya,I know ethereum will definitely survive because a lot of dapps and defi tokens are built on its platform. Maybe paper money might be phased out in generations to come.

I don't think that paper money will be phased out at any point in the future, to be honest. Those countries that don't have internet access and that are in rural developments, will not be able to make use of these online systems, and hence paper money has to be around for those that do not take to online.

Ok, internet is rapidly penetrating even in remote areas of the world and their population is lower than the rest of the world. With cashless policy gaining weight,I see it as a possibility.

Internet is reaching a lot of areas, however people will respond better if given a choice between paper money or crypto transactions. I think only having one and not the other may deter many people.

Yes, with the way crypto is being integrated into our daily lives,it won't take a long time for people to get accustomed to it.

The both are risky and they also fluctuates there are people who trade both BTC and gold for profit that's just it no difference in risk taker

I also believe for the purpose of investing, bitcoin is better than gold. Five years ago, bitcoins was around $1000, now it has crossed $22000. Gold price in 2015 was about $40 per gram, now it is $60. See the difference in the price increase. However, bitcoin is also very volatile.
The difference is very much wider , I think gold now has less attention because more people are willing to put their money into bitcoin than gold now

I definitely see your point in terms of price increase over the last few years, and bitcoin would have been a much more profitable investment. However for the security that gold has, some may prefer it to bitcoin.

The people who gives gold security are the ones mostly Investing into bitcoin now so u don't think that much previledged security is there now for gold.

I prefer small value currencies like trx because they rarely have 10% fall in a day but big currencies can have like btc / ETH / bch just my own opinion. And strategy
This makes a lot of sense from that perspective. Low value coins are also good for trading because you are able to see the difference in price and be able to profit from your trades with a lower investment.

It's depends uponn different factors, and different view points, both have their pros and cons, I likes both gold and bitcoin, It depends on him you can say that gold is bad.

Well this true , but to me , I believe Bitcoin outperforms gold and presently , it has more audience that gold ,and more investors are keying into bitcoin than gold

I think we need to capitalize on Bitcoin while we have the opportunity. Nobody knows what the future holds. Especially about bitcoin. Therefore, it is also important to correctly calculate all possible risks.
Absolutely, there is no guarantee when bitcoin will fall or rise. There is a lot risk involve when you invest in bitcoin but if everything goes well, the profit is big.
