How do you invest in bitcoins / altcoins?

Where do you buy/sell bitcoins and altcoins?

I want to invest in some, but looking for answers first, Any tips will be appreciated.

Also, how do you trade/exchange bitcoins and altcoins?

Is bittrex more user friendly that poloniex? I heard before that bittrex has its issues. Slow support reply, I forgot the other issues.
As far as my experience, it's way more better than Poloniex and user friendly. I never had problems with support. But yes, sometime it takes more time and I guess that's fine.
Plus, as for new ones to join.. Bittrex has more positive reviews;

Bittrex is better than poloniex is some ways. But bittrex has it's own downside, like the captcha you have to fill before logging in. Sometimes it takes time.
I'm just starting to use bittrex let's see how it goes. Maybe i would come to love it.

Yeah, everyone has it's own choices and reliability.
Best of luck ;)

poloniex. The system is simple and understandable. You can easily learn trading with a simple hobby. It will be useful to learn technical analysis after learning how the system works. You can also make money without buying or selling.
BTCs make money by lending money to others.

Yeah, Im also using poloniex. They also offer lending, we can earn from lending our coins there. But still, trading has a lot profit than lending.

What site do you use to lend money to others? I tried bitbond but their id verification process is slower than slow motion and extremely irritating. Generally, do you know any sites making money from lending interest?

What I do these days is open coinbase or blockchain account. And then accept the cryptocurrencies through the faucet earning. Also some of the time I do accept the money into the account from say forum payouts etc. It works out in some cases but it seems like the earning is slow on crypto. I wanted to do good on the steemit. But so far not much of a good progress for me to earn from them.

I see, maybe I should also try bittrex. But I think poloniex is more user friendly.

I am using bittrex and for me, it's more user friendly. I think their issues have been resolved already and yeah, sometimes, it takes for the support to reply. The best thing to do whenever you will do transactions is to make sure that you have everything is correct. Best to invest in NEO and OMG based on their developments. Take a look at their graph at coinmarketcap.com, it's going up....

My only investment in Bit Coin, if that is investment at all, is keeping my money in Bit Coin. I am keeping some my money in this currency, I am earning money when it is rising. Sometimes I withdraw some money and that is how I am earning money.

Unlike other exchange sites, I use Yobit. My initial investment for bitcoin came from my disposable income and cheap change. I would usually look at the ICO of new altcoins and check how much they are followed in bitcointalk as well as check if the development for the coin seems legitimate and with effort. I would invest while it's still new and immediately sell when the price doubles. I have accumulated my bitcoins from the initial 0.0005 satoshi to 0.21 satoshi just through buying and selling. It's sort of like playing with stocks.

How long have been taken for you to accumulate this amount ?
And for Yobit, is it an earning sites or facuet, or only has the exchange and investment features ?
thx

I have earned around the same. But it's hard to get higher bitcoins now. I mean it's hard to mine. And also it's getting hard to have those coins. I mean apart from bitcoin no other coin is rising. And it seems like ripple and ether is yet to take traction. So maybe I think selling it won't be a good strategy.

I keep my bitcoins(satoshis) in my Wallet and let them there, because I know that the Bitcoin value will rise.My opinion is,that this is the best investment with Bitcoin taking in consideration, that the Bitcoins value is risen with 2-3 times within a short period of time.

I agree, Im only using trading/exchange sites to exchange my altcoins earnings. But with btc we can directly withdraw it using coins.ph

You can buy Bitcoins(satoshis) and keep it in your wallet as a long term investment,as it's price is rising.I don't recommend trading,if you don't have experience in it.Or if you want to start trading invest a small sum.Good luck to you!
