yeah same I thought that in the first place because I love comics and I read them all time, but also the subject of the comic which has a code is also interesting

No, I don't even have a Twitter account lol. However, I did a google search and found the author of that comic book, it's Dim Zayan (@cryptgm). He posted some recent tweets about the comic book that you can find out on his page, but I wonder why he doesn't have many followers.

How come it's a hoax? Even if you unable to solve the puzzle you'll still get the comic if you purchase it. I don't think you can consider that as scam.

The catchy thing wasn't the comic book but the giveaway which no one might isn't crack,so it seems a scam when the puzzle isn't clear to people

If it's easy then people wouldn't call it "puzzle" in the first place. It was meant to give people challenge. Eventually someone who's smart enough will break the code I believe.

Well, I'm yet to see someone win the puzzle or the prize. I think they are focusing more on people reading the book than winning anything about it.
