Sometimes your business run smoother than you expect, till it starts worthing a high value, at this point, would you sell it and use the money to start another business that requires no effort or regular monitor or just keep it as an income source but with monitoring it ?
i personally would sell it to get in something more comfortable, since life isn't all about money :) what about you ? what do you think is right ?

Obviously i will keep my high profit buisness. If i am getting a lot from my buisness then i will obviously want to keep going no matter what. As a result i will keep my company rather than selling it for sure.

Some people may perhaps want to go for another business that can even earn them more than that, but instead of selling it, one can hire a trusted manager and go for the business because no one knows what may occur in the nearest future.
It's normal to struggle in business but going to sell it when you have a hard time is just a waste.. maybe in some cases it's the best thing they can do.. like when nearing bankruptcy

I completely agree. There are option downs in every business, it is actually a cycle. So when the time is hard and you are facing Harsh time, you must hold on to it. The good times will come eventually. Selling at that point of time will be a foolish step.

It doesn't really make sense for you to sell a business that is growing rapidly and increasing the worth. I will definitely keep running the business and making it to grow.

I would keep maintaining the business and get the best of it by expanding its web into other areas. Selling a profitable business to begin a new one seems like starting from the scratch.

I believe that the main aim that I would ever want to open a business is because I will want to make profit at one point or the other. Even if the costs should increase and I keep on making profit I think I am just going to stick with it and will do so unless it shows me otherwise.

I don't think it will be right to do so.
A business that costed you high which is still bringing in high returns is a good venture. Selling it will make one go shakened because you've already rooted in the line of business and made a nsome; the best advise is to expand further.

My dream is to have a good asset. How will I find a high costing business that produces high income for me and sell it?! It will never happen because that is my exact dream. Once it is achieved, I will stick to it and pray not to ever fall down. I will keep it as my high income and still establish another business to have such businesses like that. Then I have solid asset which I can rely on when I'm old or aged.

Personally I think if I where to find myself in such a situation, I would rather keep the business than sell it off. If I should sell it off and start another business, what's the guarantee that it would go well like the previous one? As long as I am still earning well from the business, I would keep it. If the work load becomes too much, it's also a clear sign the business is doing well. The best thing to do at this point would be to hire an assistant or employ someone as a manager to help run the business.

It's true that life is not all about money but business is all about money making. If you are less concern about making money simply because you are looking for comfort, then it's better you stay off business because it's against the business ethics. My major aim of going into business is to make money.

I am somebody who will always like to form a personal relationship with my own business. This might mean that I can even sell my business that I am not comfortable with even if it has been bringing profit. I will then invest the money into something that I am more passionate about that can also be profitable.

I don't think there's any one 'right' answer. It all depends on the individual and what you value, in my humble opinion. Personally, I wouldn't sell up, especially if I were very passionate about the business. The minute my business started yielding a lot more profit and growing exponentially, I would look at scaling it up and diversifying it. I would take some of the dividends and reinvest them back into the business to grow it and ensure it stayed ahead of the pack. I think the problem with many business is that they get stuck in a time warp and almost always get left behind because the owners love the comfort of the status quo. There are many businesses in my country that are older than time itself and haven't changed in the time I've known them. That doesn't make any sense to me at all.

There is no way I am ever going to consider selling of your business if it is regularly bring any profit and I still love the ideals of it. I am not very sure if the business that I am going to invest if the money is going to bring me that kind of profit and even if there is I will better invest the profit instead.

I wouldn't sell my high costing business, I would rather use it to generate revenue or income. Before you're offered to sell your business, the potential buyers has conducted a proper and critical research on the profit that would be generated. So long as the business is still yielding, it is good to be creative and innovative.

If I have a business that is really growing and its value is very high I will definitely not sell it instead I will venture into other businesses. This will give me more money and definitely more time because I wouldn't really worry about a particular business again because I have a lot. I will employ a whole lot of people to take care of the business while I enjoy my life.

there are many people that have sold in their business at that stage and then later regretted. If you have a growing business and of a great value then there is no need of you selling it. if you have a business mindset then you will probably use the money to start other businesses and make a whole lot of profit.

Definitely. According to the OP, he would use the money to venture into other business. It's betteryou maintain a successful business you have instead of trying to venture into another business and selling the one that is successful. there is no assurance that the new business will succeed so it is better for you to make more plans on how to improve the high-value business you have.

A situation in which I can't manage the business perfectly or I don't see someone to manage the business honestly , I don't have any other option than to sell it . This is likely to happen when I'm retired or maybe when I am no longer capable of managing a business.. I rather use the money to invest in real estate.. that won't require so much stress and energy.

I think it is best to keep it as a high income source. the selling mindset would just come if you think you would not be able to run the business anymore in the next months
There some other factors that may predict the necessity to sell off the business rather than keep it as a high source of income. Factors like; inability to find a trusted person to hand over the business to, it could also come from permanent relocation to another country, it could also be characterized by the original business owner being unable to manage it or due to some physical illness that demands the business owner to take adequate rest.

This can only work if the other business you wanted to start will surely be successful. But as for me I will advise you not to sell your business for any thing because no one can tell may be that one you wanted to start will grow like the first one .
So I will be good if you can still keep it save.
