The vast majority of reports on long-term investments have as their central theme the queen of cryptocurrencies, BTC, they talk about their behavior, their price, their future, investors. Less is said about the other altcoins.
I am not particularly a long-term investor, in the near future I will, it is necessary to have a short, medium and long term investment portfolio.
My question is:
What cryptocurrency other than BTC would you invest in for the long term?

Defi token? I have heard of it before. I will do more research on it to know how profitable it is. What is the price of defi token currently?
DEFI is not a token, it is an acronym that stands for Decentralized Finance and has to do with exchangers that were all centralized before, now DEFIs are only based on the blockchain, their database is not stored on a server.

Of course my Venezuelan brother!
Choosing Bitcoin for long-term investment is so hard, because now its price is more than 10000 dollars and If it wants to be 100 times more expensive, a bitcoin unit must be worth more than a million dollars! It is difficult for the mentality of the people to accept such a thing. But in any case, bitcoin is one of the best options.
Ah ok, I see that you expect to get a pretty high return on your investment. What percentage to expect to obtain and in how long?

The time can be more than 5 years. So i think it's reasonable to expect a big profit for a long wait! I think 10000 percent is enough:)
An important thing is that we can invest in more than one case. It decreases the risk.
Nobody can guarantee the percentage that you will win. If you leave an investment for so long it is that you do not need it and it is very exaggerated to earn so much without doing anything

Maybe in the future. Depends heavily on how the coin performs and the dev team behind it. But for the meantime I stick with Bitcoin.
Most of us already know a lot about BTC and it is difficult for us to change our minds, I do not deny that for me it is the best long-term investment option, but I know that other assets come out there gaining ground and taking positions that allow them to return an excellent profit.

Adding a little more to what was stated by the friend @gammarays, DEFI is not a token, it is the acronym for Decentralized Finance, its operation is on the blockchain, they are not governed by legislation and there are no intermediaries between the parties involved in the exchange of assets.

I am currently not investing in any crypto currency, even bitcoin. I have ever invested in bitcoin in the past and it was great, it earned me some profit. If in the future I learn about the possibility of another coin being great to invest in, then I will definitely try it.

But instead of investing you register in some faucets and PTC that pay in BTC, what you are earning you are holding or you are investing

I am not working in ptcs and faucets anymore. They are so time wasting and uses up alot of data. With my limited data bundles, I find myself loosing more than I earn in them.

Ah ok, you are quite limited. It is not easy to find alternatives, because if you do not have money you must start from the bottom, unless you have certain skills that allow you to work as an offline freelancer and when you finish the job you send it to the person who hired you.

Personally, when it comes to long term investments, for now I can only trust bitcoin. For now, I think the others will do for short term investments.
I had already said it before, I am not very fond of long-term investments, but I know that you have to divide the investment portfolio into short, medium and long term.
And the first options that come to mind are BTC, ETH, CRO, LINK and TRX.

Guess you are picking BTC and ETH for short time while the rest three goes for medium or longtime investment, I will advise you add BNB to short time investment.

EOS is another cryptocurrency that has a lot of potential. To get EOS token..one need to meet the requirements. Every investment should be done with foresight and positivity. I recommend EOS to work wonders
I have heard of this EOS token , it like it is listed either on Binance or one of these exchange platforms, can you tell me how to earn it?.

OK. To get EOS token...you can join Everipedia.com and start editing and earning eos token..
Eos token has been listed on binance
Alright, I have not heard of this site you mentioned off and what do I edit to make money from this site. Trust wallet should have EOS already

@Ewogboka Thank you very much for your advice, I will take it into account. I must do a study of the currencies and see their potential in the short, medium and long term.
@Kingnotan I have heard about EOS, but I have not stopped to study it, thank you very much for reminding me.

Practically to me and at this stage of evolution I will rather venture for cryto currency it is the best investment compared to any other form of investment
You have to be careful with the high volatility of cryptocurrencies, they can make you win or lose a lot of money. What I mean by this, for a long-term investment there are few currencies that offer a true investment option, for the short and medium term there are many options and more now that the DEFIs have entered the game.

That is the same feeling that I have right now and now with the rise of DEFI that feeling has increased exponentially. You have to go with trends and DEFIs are now a trend.

I am currently having plans on investing on Juld to actually make more money because i have seen cases of the coin increasing and having more potential i think
