❓ASK Will someday robots and automations take over all of humans' jobs?

Ah, the rise of automation. Several years back before corona hits us all in the face, there was this ongoing fear about how a lot of jobs will be handled by robots instead of humans, endangering those low-skill workers' livehood. What's your opinion on this? Have you prepared yourself for the eventual replacement by automation?

That is a very fair point. In my city automated cars are already in service - BUT they are only used (as taxis) in one small part of the city (a part with excellent roads). It will be a very long time before self-driving cars will be seen in rural areas...
Yeah, that kind of development will only be successful in an urban settlement, a place where there is are perfectly constructed roads and not in rural areas that even the humans find it hard to drive through

I believe this is already happening in little ways, I once saw on the news a restaurant that uses robots as it waiters. Even most of our online activities, we now make use of robots, we use bots to manage and control our sites and groups, some even use bots to help them trade.

Yeah, that's my fear because with the already existing rate of unemployment in some countries, such ideas would just make things a lot worse and possibly lead to a high crime rate
Yes, many countries especially the developing countries are already faced with a lot of unemployment challenges then if you bring this type of idea again it will make things worse.

There are indeed many resturants that use waiters as resturants. But, at the moment at least, they are mostly just there as a curiosity - they are not widespread, nor will they be due to the cost of robots being so high! Still, in the future, sure waiter is one job that will be replaced.

Yeah, I did notice that too. Technology is really having a rapid growth and advancing very fast, no one could predict what it will turn up to be in the near future

Yeah, some countries shouldn't adopt that kind of advancement when it comes because it will throw many people out to the streets and corruption will be definitely at its peak

The truth is that robots will take a lot of human jobs in the nearest future but not really or because they aren't humans. There are human intelligent tasks that robots can not do.
Yeah, that is a reality that we will have to accept. Robots will take over so many jobs. Though they will still require human intelligence to operate them. Those jobs will be so few. Then there are other jobs that robots cannot do.

Definitely. Human intelligence is necessary for the operations of robots. Is always very good to increase one's knowledge in order not to be left out.

Human jobs can only be done by the hamans not robots. You can have robots for a job that has repeated actions to perfom. Many companies has robots for their jobs but some jobs or work can be done by humans like making decisions regarding sales or business business decisions.

You're absolutely right. there are some jobs that cannot be done by robots. In businesses, humans make the decisions of the business are not robots. So it is quite impossible for robots will totally take over jobs.

Exactly, in the next five to ten years from now, there would be a huge difference in the technology sector, artificial intelligence would have gotten a strong root by then

Definitely. Going by the rate at which technology is developing now, in the next 10 years that will be a lot of advancement technologically. Artificial intelligence will be better cultivated.

I could remember like a decade ago, a pilot flies an helicopter. From which a camera man films from there. But now they just use a drone. Little by little, technology is taking over

It will not happen, somethings can happen in movies not real life,as long as there is a chain of making and delivering reports we cannot underrated human efforts.

The thing is that we need to be current with the way technology is developing , so that we are not outdated and miss out of great profit

A lot of it actually but nothing can replace a human if you are efficient in your work not depend on machines and work hard that's the key to be honest in my opinion

Most people will always believe this that in the future robot will take over some of the work we are doing but this may not really be true Because Robot have their own limits and there are some things which robots will not be able to do.

It will happen someday as technology is advancing every day but human will still be ontop of the control. The negative effect will be of companies and businesses that will cut cost by employing robots and sidelining human.

But we can use the help of robots and technology to do the most dangerous jobs like mining perhaps or digging for oil in the middle of the ocean?
