I suggest you evaluate yourself and know what you can do best. Can you write? If yes, i suggest you start with iwriter, a good site for newbie writers. Later you can graduate to better paying sites like textbroker and Zerys. Personally i use Textbroker US Profile. I have been writing for my colleague in the US for a year now. I can say it can earn you a decent amount. But requires commitment, consistency and continuous learning.

One article, an average article can earn you over $30 per 250 words, if approved. All you have to make sure is that you have checked the article very well for plagiarism, grammatical errors and stentence structures.

The other paid to click kind of jobs are good. But will really eat up you productive time. You may click buttons whole day and not make substantial amount. But again, they offer a quick fix for short term needs.

Generally speaking, how many surveys you will receive from the majority of these sites largely depends on your location. It is a well-known fact that the U.S residents tend to receive surveys FAR more often than the rest of the population.

Also, usually, at the start of the months, you won't receive them than towards the end you will notice more surveys becoming available. I suggest that you register to several different survey sites so you increase your chances of actually getting some. It is completely random what kinds you will get - you have to match the profile that they're looking for.

I have done surveys that paid anywhere from $0.10 and all the way up to $5 for one single survey.

Its a crummy time of the year for earning as well. Tax year has just started. Big firms are still allocating budgets and what not. There isn't a big hurry atm. It will take a few weeks to pick back up again. Especially with passive earning sites as well.

Geographical factor is one thing, your profile is another thing. I think single with no kids,might cause you have little surveys fit your profile.

Agree with you, PTCs doesn't work for some users of certain country,like mine too. Haha!
