When it comes to managing a business. A manager needs some good skills to run the business effectively. So apart from marketing skills a manager needs. What others skills are needed by a manager?

Yes I say this because I've had experience in dealing with people and if one does not have appropriate communication skills end up having issues in the business.
That is so true. Communication skills are so important in business. When you have this skills, you can easily create rapport with customers and be able to sell more. A manager should be equipped with this skills and be a role model to his/her surbodinates.

To excel as a good business manager you must be able to manage finances very well, have good customer services and ability to communicate effectively and top notch marketing skills.
Money management skills are really very necessary. A manager who lacks this skills can cause the company/organization go bankrupt.

The manager also needs to have good personal and communication skills with his employees ,at least it will improve the business relationship

Problem solving skills are also paramount as a manager. There are many problems and risk that a business faces and so a manager should be equipped with skills to face. This also include conflict management skills.

The ability to understand each team member's strength and weaknesses, good communication and coordination skills, and wide decision making are all important.

That is so true. A manager should fully understand each team member's skills. This will enable him to ddevide labour equally as each member gets responsibilities based of their expertise.

A good business manager must be hands on, street wise, know the trends in his business, be quick to commend his workers and ruthless against agents of wastages. Always be informed 24/7 on changes in prices of goods and services including raw materials.

Managing a business effectively and successfully require some skills apart from marketing skills. Managing your employee is also very important, because they contribute greatly to the success and failure of any business.

A business manager should be authoritative and command respect from his/her employees. This does not necessarily mean being extra strict such that he/she is feared. The manager should just be someone who has standards anf can't allow anyone to go against the rules of business.

I guess instead of been authoritative, if he or she is principled and tolerant will be better such that his employees or staff can easily understand his body language officially and unofficially. Lots of skills are needed as a business manager though you can grow them as things unfold.

To me the chief skill needed as a business manager, is human resources management.
If a manager is able to manage both employee and customers , the business will grow very well.

A good manager should also be persuasive and firm. Persuasive in engaging customers and firm in dealing with those who work with him. He should be able to put his foot down on issues if not he can easily be taken for granted and walked all over.

Definitely these are the two areas that need to be heavily controlled by the manager to move the business to enviable height. Business needs a good manager though

Running a business is very interesting and very rewarding but can be very challenging. Therefore it becomes vital to possess some sorts of skills. The skills required resolves around a sound knowledge of business principles. Some of these skills which are fundamental but not limited to:
1.Book keeping:You must treat this as important, for you need to understand your cash flows and outflows. There is no wise business Owner that would not keep records of its finance. This determines how far you will go.The next sets of skills is the theory of SWOT

Yeah you need good communication skills, especially if its a big company it will help you to relate to your subordinates of your company and make them feel important then you will win their loyalty and production will be at its peak always. You may not be an expert but you have to be a fast learner in order to know all fields of the company and not being taught everything.

Yeah, especially because the main aim of a business is profit and as such it is pertinent to have knowledge of how to manage ones expenses to realize profit at the end of the day

I think a manager needs to be mentally healthy and should have a great mindset. In that way he might be able to motivate others and act as an example.
Sure, motivation is really needed to not only push the business forward but also push the workers to do more. I hope employers and managers realize this on time

Well consider being patient, and of course communication skills, and be yourself, you don't need to be someone who you really are not, well and creativity might give you a chance of getting accepted.

Patience is one of the important thing needed in any business to make more money business has its own strategy, communication is one of the best instrument needed to lue customer to your business field you also need good managerial skills to succeed in business.
