Generally, there is no business for a particular gender as both gender can take up any business based on passion. But the society has succeeded in apportion business based on gender. This is why it will look odd seeing a woman driving a truck or seeing a man engaging in hair dressing.
Though, civilization has changed this notion as there is no or low gender restriction on business these days. What is your take? Should we consider gender while setting up a business or not?

It is easy for guys to seamlessly do female dominated businesses but some traditional physically demanding works that were hitherto done by men is still hard for women to penetrate. Not as if they are not some women doing it but it is not common. It is common to see guys doing pedicure and manicure but it is not common to see ladies doing construction work.
I agree with what you wrote about the ease of guys training jobs that are obviously not suitable for women. But it must also be taken into consideration that these jobs require physical effort that sometimes not even all the men hired are able to perform. This despite now that they are also aided by machinery for truly strenuous work.

Now, you could imagine a job that not even all men can do. It automatically means such professions won't be suitable for women. Only very few women can handle the technicality of owning a construction company. Most engineering based businesses are dominated by men. Gender is some factor in choosing a business.

I agree. Among other things on this topic, here in Italy there is a debate regarding the salary difference between men and women, in the comparison of the hourly wages of the different professions. I agree. Among other things, here in Italy there is a debate regarding the salary difference between men and women, in the comparison of the hourly wages of the different professions. On average a woman earns 15% less than a man. Even in the manager profession, which is therefore suitable for both genders, there was a 23% lower salary difference for women!
I'm sorry please can I ask you if you are a man or a woman? Just to know, thank you.

I am a man. One thing I don't support is discrimination in pay between a man and a woman performing the same role. They should all be paid the same. That being said, the world has paid the level where we rely on physical strength to be produce. It's more of brains and thinking capacity.

That is why smart women are making waves all over the world and entering business ventures that were traditionally male dominated.

I can relate very well with the message you are trying to pass, gone are the days when the society apportions the nature of job or business suitable for male and female gender, most men nowadays are now perfectly doing what the woman are known to be doing, same goes for the women also and vice versa.

You're saying the truth, base on my experience, woman can use her smartness to hustle than even a man. It's good to look into how a woman contribute to the success of a work than to look onto her strength.

That is true though. We have come to an era where creativity matters more than physical strength.

However, there are industries that have been historically male alligned even in business. You find very few women there. For example, running an auto mechanic business. I have seen just 3 women running this business. No

Like you said, a man or woman should consider his or her capacity as a person and as a gender before choosing a business.

While gender should not be the primary factor in choosing a business, it can be an important consideration. Research has shown that businesses owned by women tend to perform just as well as those owned by men, if not better. Additionally, there are a number of programs and resources available specifically for women-owned businesses.
