Most of us like reading. We might have some books that we would not want to read any more in the future and won't like to keep at home due to space.

Other than donating them to the library, we can try to sell all these books online either via Amazon, Facebook group/page for getting some little pocket money.

Having said that, the seller has to consider the shipping charge incurred if the books are shipping oversea, if not the seller might lose money on paying the shipping fee which more than he/she earned from the deal.

Have you tried selling old books online before this? Was it a good or bad experience?

Most times whenever you finish reading a book you definitely do not have any other thing to do with it again and keeping it is going to be a liability. You can always go to online listing sites like Facebook marketplace and place the book there so that you can be able to sell it off as a used product and get a very big percentage of the money that you initially used to buy it.

Yes , you can there are many platform on which you can sell your book , just choose the one with the lowest fee and added benefit and if possible test them with the free trail to be honest , these things are not difficult and important
things to measure first for the success of a company to be honest .

This system could be called as a kind of refund on a book bought, paid for and already read, but not a source of income.
This is also because, the money you ask for the books you have used and already read, are obviously less than what you spent to buy new books.
However I see this as a good method of recycling. 👍 👍

Essentially do not need to stick to your old books if you do not need them especially as there are people who will want to buy them at a fair price online. The Facebook marketplace has presented one of the best places in which you can be able to look for people who have wanting to buy them and then meet at a secure location to transfer.

Well, I am not so sure about selling old books online because I think it's actually a physical product and I don't see how you can send that to someone who might be in another country or even continent. But you you're a good story teller then you might stand a chance with Amazon Kindle publishing company as they offer the best payment for your short engaging stories.
Some of my peeps are into it and are making a good amount of money.

Selling physical books online and selling digital books can not really be the same because it is much more easier to sell ebooks.

If you want to sell physical old books that you no longer need you actually need to consider the shipping charge or the cost of transportation depending on the location of the buyer.

You can use platforms like Facebook to sell such books and probably make some good amount of money from it. The good thing about using Facebook is that those who are nearby can easily buy it and therefore the cost of transportation will be lower.

eBay is one of the platform where you can sell old books to make money online. Some books are best sellers but they are no longer in circulation and some people are still looking for them. Such books are going to sell fast if you make them available on platform like eBay and Craigslist. You can also apply for reprint right from the publishing company so that you be able to reprint and sell to those who are demanding for the books. This is how some people are making a lot of money in my country selling old books.

A fantastic method to make money and clear out your space is to sell used books online. You may sell secondhand books on a number of online marketplaces and platforms, including Amazon, eBay, and BookFinder. You must assess the value of your books, clean and prepare them, take images and write descriptions, select a platform that best suits your needs and budget, set a reasonable price, and send your books on time if you want to sell them online. You can choose the ideal platform and price for your books with a little research and effort.

The demand for used books, their quality, pricing, and market volatility are just a few of the variables that affect whether or not used book sales are successful online. Establishing a successful book selling business may take some time and work, but with careful planning, pricing, and marketing, it may be a viable source of income. Researching online book marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, AbeBooks, BookFinder, or BookScouter is the best approach to sell used books.

If definitely works in our country the people who sell old books buy it at about 30% price of the original book maximum and they sell it 50% so they make about 60-70% of the sale amount in form of profits actually indeed .

Determine the exact shipping costs based on the weight and location of the book.To safeguard the books during transit, use the right packing. It is advised to use sturdy boxes and bubble wrap. Think about specialized websites or communities for the sale of rare and collectible books.

If you want to sell old books. online marketplace like Amazon, eBay, or Etsy, or working with a consignment store that specializes in used books. The value of what you sell is based on the condition of the books, the age of the books, and whether they are in high demand.
