I'm not a tech geek but as far as I know, a lot can be done if you know how to code. I have an app in mind that I want to build, but the problem is I do not know how to code. I have seen stuff online like bubble.is which would help you make apps without coding but I think I want to learn how to code so I can really do what I want with my app. Any suggestions on what programming languages I need to learn?

So for Android you need Java and for iOS you need Objective-C, these programming languages are object oriented, before you start with these you need some basic knowledge of programming like, arrays, strings, functions, loops, booleans, conditionals, operators, if/else statements, variables, methods, etc.

Well I have tried learning Python 3, and I have encountered some of the things you said like booleans. I want to develop a web app and then later on develop a mobile app based on the web app that I am going to do. so my main problem is what languages I need to learn for doing my web app.

I believe that Java is the best programming language to develop mobile apps for android mobile And C and C# are the best programming languages to develop iPhone App and iPad Apps.

How about for building a web based MMORPG? Do you have any idea what languages can be used for this task? thanks!

In case of MMORPG you have both front end and back end programming to consider. If you want to develop web based games then learning javacript can definitely helps. You can learn it from tutorialspoint, codecademy and others. You can also learn C# and then you can build mmorpg. You just have to try harder in that case with better server such as Azure. You can learn C# programming. And after learning you can choose the path for which language should be good for backend for database purpose.

Firstly i think you should start with html and css... I recently started to learn coding myself.. From information i got,i was advised to start with html and css.
Goodluck!!

Android: You need to a good understanding on Java if you want to be building applications on this operating system
IOS: A good understanding of a coding language named Objective-C

i think you can easily make the app that you like coz the difficult stage is when you need to think what will you do and the logic of it, how it work, what will be the function. and regarding the code, you can search it on internet, you need to understand the basic coding and after that you can do the app you want.

From research i think you might need a little knowledge of some programming language like python,CSS+,HTML while you focus more on Java to get thing going smoothly. You can have the tutorial from.codeacademy or udemy which are very useful site for learning coding.
