❕NEWS Pressure on the laws regarding data sharing may force Facebook to quit Europe

As reported by the Guardian, Facebook is known for its weak privacy protection and constant robbery of consumers' private data, and Europe ready to combat this. In July, the European court of Justice has concluded that there were insufficient privacy protections against data farming regularly conducted by Facebook. Facebook is also known as a spying platform used by several US-based intelligence agencies to monitor everyone who use the platform. In order to combat this the court has decided to put in effect a law that restrict or even ban data sharing with US. In response to this, a Facebook spokesman has said that this law may force Facebook and Instagram to quit European market.

This is also one of the reasons why I believe that it will be very difficult for them to leave and enter a market. It will just take a blink-of-an-eye before Facebook will be able to come up with things that will be able to divert people's attention and then it is already back into business and people have already forgotten about everything .
Or they could change their name to another one ,there are different method they could actually make use of when it comes to them leaving the market from knowing what's going on ,and they keep enriching and getting all the necessary benefits they are interested in getting in that mode

If there is no other solution to this then let them quit, I believe there are so many other alternatives those from that region can easily make use of. I once heard about this form someone some time back that Facebook was actually being used to spy on it's users and most of our data are being sold out as well. I think seeing this post is like a confirmation to it, and I feel it does not make sense for them to do this without the consent of it's users.

Am not sure about the spy part , because they would have faced regulation suit if they are doing such thing ,the only part I am sure of is that our data are in breach because it's been sold to advertisers and they actually make use of it , for different kind of purposes

I don't know what are their reason but if sharing data is the main issue here which personally I think it is not then they should have a way to settle the issue having a social media handle like Facebook not present in a particular continent wow going to be somehow to be honest I think they should reach an agreement because Facebook is some people's daily earning and some people in Europe actually love it

I don't know the statistics of Facebook users in Europe I just want to have this thinking that the Rope you have done traffic social media like other world people if you look at it critically I don't think it is possible for Facebook to completely go black in Europe but personally I think the issue is political and they should have an understanding and settle it but I'm having a curious mind that's the Europeans patronize Facebook that much

But from your own stand point, do you think this is also right? Am pretty sure while creating your Facebook account there was no space for you to decide if you agree or not for your data to be shared, hence if they are doing this without the consent of their customers, it can also be classified as invading of privacy right?

I actually think it written on their terms and services , when registering you have automatically accepted ,it's not been stated clearly for users to see ,that's the problem there and it's now been sold to advertisers to send ads to location

Facebook has been receiving a lot of sticks in the past about how it has been handling its customers data but right now I believe that they should start coming up with answers. It has really not gone that bad for them to say they are going to leave an entire continent but then a lot remains to be seen.

They have not been handling customers data well i guess it's the reason there are many complaint about the data of people been stolen ,I really do hope they could resolve it and make proper adjustment to the way the customers data are been used for different reasons and purpose by advertisers

I understand that people in Europe but when is Facebook a lot but what I do not get is why Facebook is trying to leave the continent completely. This is definitely not going to be a good thing for it business because it was so has a lot of other subsidiaries like WhatsApp and Instagram.

I already noticed one aspect of the news that most intelligence agencies around the world uses Facebook as an avenue to monitor and keep an eye on their target , and the offence with data sharing is really a big offence but i pray it doesn't affect facebook and instagram negatively.

It is usually very difficult for you to understand something whenever there is a very big debate about how it is supposed to be done or how it is not and the crowd is divided. My personal perspective I do not see anything bad with the collection of data by social media companies because that is how they make their own money but then they should be responsible with it and customers can choose to an extent in which their data can be shared.
