Defunct Oyster protocol and Pearl $PRL token founder Amir Bruno Elmaani, better known as Bruno Block pleaded guilty of tax envision.

Elmaani minted and sold $PRL in September-October 2017, but his tax return in 2017 was only for $15k. However, Elmaani's lavish lifestyle in 2018 exposed him.

The US court has sentenced Elmaani for 4 years in prison for not paying income tax of over $5.5 million. However, no punishment for investor's loss

He sold himself out with living a very lavish lifestyle. I don't understand why there is no punishment for investors losses. Maybe, the court sees investment in crypto as something you do at your own risk. The sentence is not long though.

It is clear that he did not get any major punishment. If a scammer gets a small punishment, then he will definitely scam, because after coming out of jail, he will be free from punishment and will enjoy the money obtained from the scam.
