Nigeria with a population of over 200 million people and the economy giant of Africa has been making tremendous improvement in the crytpo currencies activities recently.
Blockchain.com revealed that the country emerged the biggest the source of bitcoin trading volume in the continent with a value of 34.4 million dollars against South Africa with $25.2 million and the Tanzania the fifth in the rank with $600, 00. The country is also the fastest growing Crypto market globally.

a lot of improvements in the african countries which is really nice to hear, especially in the cryptocurrency world, those are good signs that crypto will be a popular thing in the near future

How resistant is Nigerian national currency in this pandemic? A lot of fiat currencies are experiencing downturn because of this virus, this may lead to wider crypto adoption in Nigeria.

Good statistics for Nigeria there.Infact there are a lot of good things that would have come from Nigeria if it had tightened their anti fraud policy like China. Most world and African ponzi schemes are housed in Nigeria or rather are associated with Nigeria. This is not a good indicator. So most of the transaction listed on the mentioned exchangers could be found associated with fraudulant activities.

Its very good news for cryptocurrency development across the world. I have seen African and other foreign countries are more interested in digital currencies.

There is no country that doesn't have their own fraud and others, and how are we sure that most of those transaction are associated with fraudulent practices since there are no stats for it

What you say is unfortunately true and probably that commercial boom with cryptocurrencies could come from those activities, but the truth is that this leads to greater adoption and knowledge in the population about the use of cryptocurrencies, which leads to the government in the near future issue regulations or open the market so that interested parties can conduct business with them among the different existing structures in the country.
Keep a close eye on the Nigerian market

It's a presumption based on records, when Nigeria is doing well in one way or another then other African countries will also benefit just as my country has benefited from the Alicko Dangote cement plant which was officiated by the Nigerian vice president.Emphasis is put on the anti fraud policy
According to thepost24.com,Nigeria was ranked as top most scamming country in the world amongst;Romania,Philippines, south Africa,Venezuela,Indonesia,Pakistan,Brazil,China,India and Nigeria topping the list in that order respectively.

Hey I congratulate you, you handle good information citing the source, excellent.
How unfortunate that my country, Venezuela, is on that list of the most fraudulent countries.

@onlyprofits thanks for the compliment.Yeah too bad for your country but at the end of the day no county is immune from the "money sucking vultures".The only comparison is the complex fraudulant activities in other countries.

@ELSA-ELI
Doing an analysis of the behavior of Venezuelans on the internet, if we deserve to be on that list, since they use VPNs and VPS a lot to work on the survey pages and also to create multi-accounts, unfortunate but it happens as something normal.

Yeah vpn could be used to change the ip address or mask it , then the person will think that the fraud is coming from an innocent country that's just it so we shouldn't justify fraud based on country

This is a good news for our dear country Nigeria. Am so glad that even though that Nigerian government has not fully given their support for cryptocurrency , Nigerians are pushing for it .

The country will continue to push harder until the government will consider legalising it for those who love to trade it on their own risk.

Its just too bad that some government are more focus on embezzling and corruption rather than thinking of the general welfare and wellbeing of their citizen

Yea. People should be allowed to trade cryptocurrency . The risk is to be bore by them , so the government should allow them to make money from it .

I think the delay of some government in accepting cryptocurrency is because they stand to gain little or nothing from the use of cryptocurrency in the country , as they won't have control over it .

I think some government might be using that means to loot public funds and put in an address that makes the funds hard to trace , so no attention is been put into it since they are more concerned about other things

Yeah you have a point except the government will compell people to do KYC regardless the wallet they will be using to store their bitcoin for easy tracking.
