According to BTCblockbot a Crypto analyst revealed that an unknown whale moved 15,022 BTC in less than 10 hours , which reduces the supply of bitcoin in market and caused a bull run.
Bitcoin traded at above $11,000 with about $202 billion dollars market capitalization.

these whales are really moving the market in quite a scale, that whale is probably some owner of some big company or a big government figure

You can hold him from moving any amount of bitcoin he wish to move because they use this movement to effect changes in the price of one coin or the other.

At times I wonder how these whales were able to posses these huge amount of bitcoin . I doubt if it is mining , because they can't be mining without selling .

Of course to have bitcoin worth millions is not something one can easily posses . is either they invested huge in btc when bitcoin has little value or they mine much bitcoin .

More percentage might be those that invested when the price was still low since they are the ones to gain large profit as well,so it's not easy to get such btc

Well even at that , they didn't buy a small amount of bitcoin . For them to posses up to 1000 bitcoin by now means they bought close to 800 bitcoin earlier , which is a huge amount of money .

There was a time the price was $0.01 so it can not be a huge some of money ,its worth the price and the increase makes more people to gain more ,especially those that believed on the increase

True , I think this was actually what happened . they took the risk of buying bitcoin when it was very low , and now they are enjoying the fruit of their bold step .

Definitely. If people just invested $100 dollars in bitcoin when it was first released, they will be reaping huge benefits and profits at this time. I wish i had done the same actually.

Yea. Many people were not able to invest in bitcoin when it was launched, because it was the first time a cryptocurrency was launched ,and people were afraid that it won't last .

That's if they didnt sell the bitcoin on the verge of making quick profit , only those that hold or kept their own up to that period ,will have large bitcoin and cash

Definetly since the funds is a palliative , most of them don't have spare money and wont be able to hold the coin in order to earn from it when it rises.

If its a palliative then there will be more of Short term traders because they will want to turn it to a quick income generating avenue so they can feed themselves

Yep, and to be honest, even when i heard about it back then i didn't think much of it. The first cryptocurrency of its type left a lot of uncertainty and i guess those that even got the airdrop would have benefited greatly as well.

I had opportunity to earn from the airdrop , and I think I earned some satoshi then , but I forgot about the coin and even deleted my wallet then . when the price rose up , there was no way to recover the wallet .

Oh wow that has definitely got to suck. I imagine that there are a lot of bitcoin that are not in circulation for similar reasons liek people forgetting wallets or deleting their wallets. I wonder what happens to that bitcoin.

I think such bitcoin are lost forever , the same way one loses his or her cryptocurrency when hr lost his recovery phrase or keys . I learnt from that , never to underestimate an investment.
