Medium Review.jpg

The Medium website is similar to other weblog or personal blogging platforms that offer writers a chance to have a blog without worrying about maintaining the blog. Here you can write up your own personal weblogs and add them to your account. What is different about this company is that they have a program you can join called Medium Partner Program.

How Does it Work?
  • The site has a free account or a paid account.
  • You can write up articles and submit them to your free account.
  • However, if you'd like to earn money from what you've written it will be necessary to join the Medium Partner Program.
  • You will submit articles to the program. You can share your best stories and in return, they will share them with the world.
  • Every story that is submitted to the partner's program will be reviewed.
  • The story must meet the editor's standards.
  • Once it is published it will be distributed to the different readers on the site who are interested in your topic. So this means that people who have the same likes and interests that you do will be reading your work.
  • As a partner on the site, you'll earn money each time one of the site members reads your article or applauds your work.
  • The money is credited into your account and you're paid at the end of each month.
How Do You Earn?
  • In order to earn money from the site, you must join the Partner's program.
  • You will earn money from the site depending on how many readers interact with your work. This depends on how many people read your article, comment or give you an applaud for what you've written.
  • Each month the subscription fee that you've paid is distributed or based on the number of authors and stories that you've read or clapped on for the month.
  • Your earnings are based upon the stories you've written, how many people interacted with your stories and how people connected with your work.
  • You will also earn revenue from the ads that are on your article.
  • The more people that engage with your article the higher your earnings will be each month.
  • The site has had a few articles that paid the write over $1000. The story was extortionary and attracted the highest views on the site. The person who wrote this article engaged with the most site visitors and had the most interaction of any article so far on the site.
  • The company will only pay you directly to your bank account by a direct deposit or you can request a debit card for your earning.
There are many sites like this online. However, the difference between this site and other sites is the fact that this site is more of a publishing company than the other sites. You can earn money from people interacting with your articles posted on the site and from advertisements on your article. You can try the site out for free and if this interests you. It is easy to join the Partner's program. As a free member don't expect to earn much from the site. The people who are in the Partner's program are the ones paid to publish articles on this site.

Yeah, working isn't that great as you do alot of work to get views. I am also searching for a better site to write articles in it. This paid per view sites just ain't working for me.

Yes, you're best off doing what feels right to you. There's no point even starting on a site that you know within yourself you'll struggle to gain traction. If a site doesn't tick a lot of boxes, I simply walk away.

Hiii all.... I just found out now that madium can make money ... So it's like we write articles on blogs ... ??? Is there a way to cloth like referrals or something else ... ??? Share proof of payment to attract other members to join ...

I have been a member of medium for over a year now and have published 7 articles with them. i agree with all of you, it is extremely hard to earn anything with this site, it is only great for people with large following.

this is good for those aspiring writers. how I wish I could write.. sad to say I can't but I will tell my friends about this site, sharing is caring. since it is proven that this is legit. thanks for the one who share this in here.

i think medium is the best platform for begainers who started their journey as a writer
on the other hand medium helps users to create a fanbase also get visitors
the unique idea for distribution money is great *_*

not really..the trick is to write what people would be interested in and publish to the right audience. If your topic does not interest people then no matter how many articles get published will not get you far. Give value to the right audience right group publisher. I don't know if you're a professional writer or not but from what I found out, you could just be presenting to the wrong audience or just chose some topics people are not interested in

Yeah, it is best to walk away from sites that don't work for you. It is just so unfortunate that it is so hard this days to find article writing sites that you can work in them comfortably.

That's my mantra - I don't see the point in remaining with a site that isn't working for you because it's a lot of time wasted when you could be making money elsewhere. Sadly, when it comes to writing sites, there aren't currently many out there that appeal to me. I prefer the ones that are easy to join, don't have crazily rigid rules and actually reward members for their input.

I also prefer those that are easy to join and you actually get paid for what you deliver. That is why I recently kept off the paid per view sites, freelancer sites where your attricles have to be checked critically before approval and those writing sites that you depend on people's upvote so as to earn, they are just so hard to work in.

oh, I don't like pay per view sites because if you don't have a huge following, you're dust. I stopped going with those after trying just one because it never worked for me LOL?? Yeah, I too would rather try those ones where the articles have to be approved no matter how rigid.

One of my greatest attributes is to see alot of hope in almost anything. It keeps my jead up high always. In this case what is is important is to study your niche and make sure it is appealing to an audience. Then it will make you some bucks.
The other thing is that the platform is very good at keeping quality content and also acts as a Plain ground for training how to write quality content. So the more we write short reviews we should look at the big picture aswel.

I totally agree and also resolved to stay well clear of those a few years ago. I mean, as it stands, it's not like as if we earn tons from good sites. So, when I come across sites that want us to jump through hoops just to earn a few measly dollars, I skip right along towards much easier sites.

That's a fantastic trait to possess and I genuinely commend you on it. However, I'm more of a realist and like to keep it real and keep it moving. I felt out these types of platforms years ago and they simply didn't appeal to me. Rather than waste my time and energy toiling away but not really earning, I moved it forward and have ultimately found exactly what works fantastically for me - teaching online. I do what I enjoy and earn decent money with a minimum of fuss.

Yes, I think it's really about finding what works for you. At first I thought the answer for me was Fiverr, but then COVID happened and all work dried up for me even though I think some people are still getting business. I mean, it's so quiet I keep wondering if I should shut down my account and focus solely on teaching. Teaching is proving great for me and keeps me so busy I'm struggling to log into my beer money sites. The most I've been managing is once or twice a week.

I wish you all the best securing your organic traffic? That's something else I'm working on for my blog too.

Hahahaha where did the comment about people chatting on Facebook come from LOL?! But I too wonder why they waste so much time and energy on Facebook instead of making money online?
Girl, I'm glad you've found someone who can help you grow your traffic. Please keep me posted!

I will keep you posted,as a matyer of fact i wanted to migrate the profile to a business page but I don't know why its not setting up.A business page gives you a tone of feature and i think it would reduce unecesary messages coming to imbox. It's frustrating to manage people really. You need to nhqve a heart.

I dont know wjer this conversation built for but i guess thing just have to pope "its health"

Currently am using medium to write my free blogs.I discovered a good opportunity with them since they offer chances to write free blogs.Similar to wordpress, I have realized significant profits through the traffic from the free blogs I write with .It has brought me customers to the affiliate sites I am in.I write free blogs about sites and inside the blog I market my link .
