Is ebay too saturated to money selling products there, or are you still able to get a decent amount of sales every month if you're getting started or getting back into it today?

I used to sell on Ebay, but haven't for years. I am told that Amazon and other alternatives are now better. What do you suggest as the best type of storefront to have online?

Exactly right your budget should correspond to your target audience if you want to target the us then you will need to have an higher budget for promotion vs if you are planning to target vietnam and Asia you can do the process in lower budget indeed .

Create an eBay Store and register for an eBay seller account. Pick a product strategy, find products, write appealing product listings, and set competitive prices for your products. Excellent customer service, search and visibility optimization, use of marketing and promotion tools, performance monitoring, and reach expansion are all recommended. It takes time, work, and constant optimization to create a profitable eBay storefront.

It will definitely take a lot of time as making money on any highly competitive website is not easy at all you will have to ensure that you can indeed have an way to beat the competitors by providing good quality products at lower rates

Clearly define your return and refund policies. Providing easy returns may increase consumer trust. Create safe payment options for customers, such PayPal or credit card transactions. Make sure your payment processing is trustworthy and effective.

I think one thing that should also be considered is actually how you engage in marketing , you should understand this and put into consideration the kind of products you are promoting because that matters a lot

I guess it's possible to make money by selling products on eBay. To be successful, however, you need to choose products that are in demand and price them competitively. In addition, it's important to keep an eye on your eBay fees and account for them in your pricing.
