We all know that one of the pros of Bitcoin is that it can't be censored. The chinese government really tried to ban cryptocurrency but they are still lots of chinese that are minning and using it. Also i heard that the indian government was planning to place a ban on cryptocurrencies a while back but i still know that they are some indians here in the forum that use it (and will still continue using it if a ban happen).

With some country legislative discussing on the plan to ban bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, what will you do if one day your government decides to place a ban on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, will you continue using it?

It is next to impossible to remove cryptocurrencies from a country. If it was banned in mine I would still be able to convert my crypto to cash through Coinbase, send it to PayPal and move it into my account.
Sometimes it is not the countries that ban crypto but banks also.

Good earnings :)

You are right... they have been cases whereby banks are asking people to not invest in cryptocurrency otherwise they might loss their account. In most cases this is not always a problem cause you can always change bank but the real problem start when the government place a ban on cryptocurrencies or create policies that act in banks favor against cryptocurrencies. But just like you have also stated, it is impossible to ban cryptocurrency, people will still find ways to use and trade them.
One popular way i heard that most people trade cryptocurrency in countries that don't support it is via local/peer to peer trading

True. I am fairly sure that Venzuela have banned all crypto except their own but you keep hearing stories of people surviving only because of crypto mining and trading as an example.

If governments would try to ban cryptocurrencies they also have to build a (fire)wall that will be bigger and stronger than famous chinese wall, or better cut off internet altogether. In case the governments fails to do it properly (and no government does things really right) there is no chance for them to block people using cryptocurrencies.

So any government or bank can kiss my a*s :Sneaky: :Finger:

I had that same doubt , buy my answer is "Yes". I will use it , no matter government bans bitcoin , i will buy or sell it somehow , i know 1 or 2 ways to trade bitcoin even if its banned , need to know more simpler ways . But bitcoin will be my part of life.

Of course! Considering the utility of Bitcoin and blockchain backed cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin WILL be valuable.

That's why it is banned in the first place, right?

Of course I will stop using it.Considering that it was banned it means government found it illegal so better to obey governments rule rather than still using it illegally.A good citizen starts in ousrself,if we can't do good how would we become a model in our country men

It is impossible the bitcoin banned because the other country or bank they use a bitcoin. but when bitcoin ban in our country . YES. I still use bitcoin. i will use VPN (Virtual Private Network) so anyone can't tract my location.

But in some countries like Iran , even using VPN doesn't work , because of the strict government . But i don't think any country can completely ban bitcoin as it is defined as decentralized , so even if government doesn't support bitcoin ,people use it some or the other way.

Still use it for sure

Yeah i will still use it. There are many foreign exchangers that can be used to trade bitcoin if the local exchangers for bitcoin are banned. Still one can buy bitcoin through localbitcoins even if it's banned from the country.

If government bans bitcoin , and takes severe actions against the use of bitcoins , then i won't use it. Some people do take risks by using international exchangers but they are in a risk of getting caught and imprisoned.

As you already mentioned, one of the powerful characteristics of btc is its resistance to censorship, so the only impediment would be its willingness to have cryptography as a means of payment. However, if in my country I had the possibility of being arrested for its use, it would only take me underground as in the case of drugs. This in some way in the end would bring me more economic benefit from my tenure in btc
