I have a question about Paypal
I have created a paypal account 2 years ago but i don't receive any money since 2016
Can my account will be closed due to No activity
I do not know if i will receive some money someday ?
Will my account be blocked if I don't link it with credit card ?
Thanks

No the account will never be closed or become inactive am also a victim of this.As long as you recall your login information then you're good to go...

Not sure. I know you can login to your account and delete it, if you want to close an account. I don't think your account will be blocked if you don't link a card, but you can check out that with PayPal support just to be sure. Hope this answers your question today.

Nope. They wont block you if you dont link a card. It's almost 2 years before I link a card on my paypal but it is still active when I log in.

I had opened an account with PayPal in 2015 and I had no online job at that time. So I never received any money but I used to receive emails from them. When I finally learned about PayPal, I logged in this year and I realized I had opened a US PayPal account.

My account was as good as new but I deleted it and opened another one using my country's link. :D

Even if you dont use your account and not linked any card on it, you can still be sure that your account is still active, that is the best thing about paypal. But would be better to verify it for your security too.

Paypal doesn't close the account. It keeps it in dormant state. You may either have to spend the money online. Or you can send the money to the bank. Either one of that can be done. But the thing is that paypal seems to be having it's share of many issues as well. You can ask the support of the paypal in that case. You can solve some of the issues of the paypal by asking questions there.
You're absolutely correct,i think it wouldn't be banned. All you need do is to login and continue using it but if you're using it for work ralated stuff, comfirm first that the site will not need a verified paypal account.

Yes. This is important before start doing works online because almost all required verified paypal account. Even ptc sites require this, plus it is more safe to use paypal once it is verified.

Your account remains though not active since you neither log in to check updates nor make transactions. You can login to see if there are updates and possibly try to link with the details required.

PayPal is a international wallet and money transfer service so his criteria is little different than other wallet . I think your account may be blocked because the PayPal update many information and facilities within 2 years you try to open your account may be they help to open your old account ..

PayPal won't close your account due to zero transactions happening on your account. If your account has remained inactive for years then it's better to login and be assured about it. I don't think there will be any problem to receive any payment s on your account if you have verified it while registering.

no your account wont be blocked... but whenever you get a credit card or a debit card, you can activate it to paypal

No it won't be blocked. I have any PayPal account ( only verified with email and phone number) , it's not linked with any credit card or bank account , but still I can login successfully.

I don't think PayPal closes account once created, never read about that maybe it will remain dormant until you are ready to start using it.

They don't close account as such cos I still mails as regard update on an account I have not access for over a year now. They only limit account that do not meet up with their requirements.

You should probably check that out quickly to see if the account is still active or not, if it isn't maybe you could try contacting support and follow the guidelines given by them perhaps...

This ^ account cannot be removed on paypal. Even if you go inactive out of your account, still, it should be alive

I have my Paypal account, since 2010.
Never happened and not even heard of something similar, inherent to this wallet until now.
However, at the most I could think that, perhaps it gives you problems, because you have not yet verified it, but of course, this is just my opinion.
But sorry me, have you ever contacted the Paypal Staff?
Greetings.

I don't think that PayPal can close an account just because one does not receive money in it. Mine stayed for almost a year and a half before I started receiving money in it. It was never closed and it is still great up to now.
