I'm a beginner music compositor but i'm surprisingly good, i'm actually doing that as a hobby, but i thought of getting something from that, how do you think i can earn from that?

Some people are going to recording studios and trying their luck there.. since people there may know a lot of people who can help or in the music industry. Also depends if you also sing or just composing

You're right, he needs to look into the guide you outlined to em. I'm a music composer, but lack of exposure and motivation from love ones and friends madee drop it. Its never easy to abandon it, but i have to cos i don't really know where to market myself to grab the attention.

I understand what you are saying, he been there before so I know how it feels not to have people to encourage, instead of encouraging they will just discourage you, and most time they are right but they don't know how to raise the spirit of someone coming up in the music industry. I will advice you look for mentors or those who have passion for music and build your music career around them.

At present it is not tough work to earn from music composition. Many are making short videos to upload on U tube so you can contract with them to compose music for them. You also upload your music on U tube, but it will take time to start earning.

I like the idea of using this skill to do some freelancing tasks. There are many freelancing platforms with clients advertising music composition tasks. Promoting yourself in those freelancing sites will earn you good paying jobs.

My husband has more than 300 compositions of English and Philippine songs. He had won in some songwriting contests and one was the grand prize of a government agency's contest. He was advised to get a singer and musicians to record his songs. It is expensive so he did not pursue that venture.
