The difficulty of arbitrage lies in how you get away with it. Most casinos will instantly ban you if you get caught doing arbitrage betting. It's a sure profit if you don't get banned since you'll mostly bet both sides. So it's still risky IMO because when you get banned you'll forfeit all your balance and winnings for sure.

I am going to digress from your statement because I do not believe that you could get banned because you are using a strategy to win
. H owever, arbitrage betting is not a guarantee to winning because you could lose as well if you do not know how to apply it or you are very unlucky.

I think the concept of progressive betting as the original poster so rightly explained in a way is just tantamount to chasing losses. Instead of me doubling my stake after I lose, I would rather reduce it to minimise the risk of losing again.

Well, since I have already tried this system, but in the end I always lost in one way or another! At this point I think I should abandon considering betting as a possible second source of income. You don't want to lose,? So don't even bother betting, and there's no system that works! Now I see it this way.
