It's been two months now since I last used PayPal and this is due to the fact that I haven't been actively working online lately. I need to put more effort now to boost my PayPal balance.

I got an email on Monday from PayPal about the new policy updates. Seems like the fees have increased and I don't know the impact it will have unless I actively start sending and receiving money with PayPal again. Attached is the PayPal policy updates. Do you agree with them? Which country do you think is the most affected?

I notice it says to a US bank account...I will assume then that it does not mean to a bank account in your own country. Not sure why someone in, say, the Philippines would want a bank account in the USA, but that $35 does seem rather steep.

Yes it only apply to US bank account because i have withdraw to SG bank acocunt and still the same fee.

Well if PayPal increases its charge fee then I think this is not good for online earners like me who are mainly using PayPal as a payment processor for most of my online sites since it will have a direct effect on our earnings. Maybe I would not easily transfer money from my PayPal to ATM card to avoid higher fees and just wait first to accumulate a bigger amount so that I can save more from fees.

Wow, I didn't know that they have raised the fees in March.. Probably one of their reasons was that there are lots of shady business going on in those countries. I'm also into changing to some Alternative of PayPal even if I'm not affected by their extra fees.

I am trying my best now to find some alternative payment processor to PayPal so that I can have something that I can use in times of great needs. I am looking now for bitcoins and I see a great improvement in it in terms of using it for payment and online purchases.

I know that PayPal is a great payment processor but I think it is not bad if we will try some other payment processor so that we can have different experiences and we can determine which of them are the best to have.
