The number of gambling and betting sites continue to increase in a daily basis. This shows that gamblers are also increasing. But based in the statistics that have been proven, can we say that gambling has done more good than harm?

Based on my own personal experience and research, the people losing far outweighs the people that wins. 99 percent of gamblers lose and the remaining 1 percent win based on luck. Gamblers continue to lose to the bookies, that is why the bookies rake in millions every month.

Gambling has done and will continue to do more harm than good, I hope the masses will realize this fact and find something more productive to do.

Gambling has done more harm than good. not all that engaging in gambling are able to win . The percentage of those are losing are more than those that are winning Everyday, those that are selling their properties in order to be able to bet keeping increasing . Very few are winning this is because apar from betting company that are keeping gaining, most of the investment of the looser were paid to the winner. in that case, gambling should be discourage in the society.
Well said, if we look at nothing more than the percentage of winners and losers this question is answered quickly, for bookmakers it is normal that they have benefited but in the end those who move the industry are customers as in all businesses and these for the most part have not been benefited

Yes it have done more harm than good because majority of gamblers stake more than what they can lost or even all there capital which lead some of gamblers to go bankrupt...i know is not possible but if all gamblers can be staking a little amount of there capital or profit even if he or she won a lot of profit then should not go and stake all he won gain no if this is possible then I can say that is harm and good also but with the majority of gamblers going bankrupt shows that is more harm than good

We all know that gambling have done more bad than good even in our society today many that went bankrupt, lost there properties and others in gambling are much more than people that earn in gambling in a stage where lost is 85% and earn or gain is 15% so with this we all know it have done bad than good

I actually believe that to some people it have done more hark than good , because many people have gone really broke Through gambling , most really even find it hard to cope and others ,it have really done worse to some kind of extent , that's something about gambling

I am sure that the workers in these gambling companies and the government that always getomey through taxes will never admit that gambling has done more harm. So the issue may be somehow controversial and it will all depend on the prospective.

Well in that case it is the fault of the bettor you should never gamble money that you can not lose in investments is the same who bets all his assets and loses it sometimes it is well used for not having measured his actions and having lost the judgment did not measure the risk and what happened happened.

While it can certainly be fun and even potentially lucrative in some cases, it's important to note that there is potential for serious harm due to the risk of addiction. Gambling addiction can lead individuals and their families down difficult paths, creating financial strain and increased stress. On top of this, problem gambling can often have devastating physical, mental, and emotional consequences on those who are addicted.

So while gambling certainly has its advantages, it's important to be aware that too much of anything can ultimately do more harm than good.

Yes, gambling has definitely done more harm than good and would continue to do more harm since so many people won't want to learn from other people's mistakes. I myself am not lucky with gambling so I wouldn't even give it a trial the second time.
So many people have a history of losing money to gambling indeed. There are huge numbers of people who have gambling addiction, and another unknown huge number who have not come out. Knowing such a high risk exists, I choose not to gamble.

You do well since you have analyzed the game well from the outside and you have seen that it does not make sense to enter because the chances of losing are too high against those of earn money, I wish I had done the same analysis before entering.

The impact of gambling can be complex and varies greatly depending on the individual and the context in which it occurs. For some people, gambling can be a harmless form of entertainment that provides enjoyment and a sense of excitement. For others, however, gambling can lead to financial problems, relationship difficulties, and addiction.
Studies have shown that a significant percentage of people who engage in regular gambling activities experience negative consequences as a result, including increased stress and anxiety, decreased work performance, and financial difficulties. In extreme cases, gambling can lead to serious problems such as bankruptcy, homelessness, and crime.
However, it's important to note that gambling can also bring benefits to individuals, communities, and economies. For example, it can generate tax revenue for governments and create jobs in the gaming industry.
Overall, it's difficult to determine whether gambling has done more harm than good, as it can have both positive and negative effects depending on the context and individual involved. It's important to approach gambling with caution and responsibility, and to seek help if it becomes a problem.

lol gambling is like **** or masturbation, you never stop no matter how you can lose...I am currently betting from Forza bet on football team , I had once win around $300 but now I had lost $500+ , I even closed it but after I claimed my account for recovery and now I am also betting for Real Madrid to win Man city regardless the loss ... surely, Betting is another addition
I wonder how I'll stop it
I have also being able to win big and loss on gambling several times. Stopping gambling is a decision you can make only by yourself, there is nothing anyone can say to make you stop if you don't want to. And if you find it difficult to stop, then just bet with the money you can do away with.

of course. i even don't see any profit in gambling. gambling is just harming you. gambling has too many profit but just for site owners not for members. it's better to quit of gambling even if you are playing for fun in weekend. i'm lucky to quit from gambling before it's too late and i'm really enjoying my life.

Yes it has done more harm than good because it is estimated that only 2/10 of those who play bet eventually win so I will say gambling has done more bad than good.

Exactly and young people that are supposed to be the future are the ones getting entangled the most. They are not betting what they can afford to lose at all and this has negative effects on their financial status.

Agreed but mostly such offers are country restricted and some require you to make a deposit on these websites as well to avail the offer so that is why you need to more often than not fulfill terms and rollover which is always tough to be honest and favours them actually .
