Two crypto users made a bet as to whoever will win the the upcoming U.S. presidential election. They both betted $10,000 for it. Bitcoin engineers says that they have all the things covered which also includes refunds if ever there is a seperate candidate that will win from either Trump or Biden.

Probably the deal was done in Crypto currencies bitcoin specifically that's why the engineers were involved it is also possible there will be more updates that are not cover here.

I'd Vote for biden. Trump is kinda racist . even you'd know through the debate saying India air is filthy, that's not nice .

well yeah I think after this smart contract if ever it is successful we might see more bitcoin smart contracts pop-up , though I don't think whoever winned isn't really obligated to do a giveaway as it was a personal bet for 2 people

Yeah you are right if more smart contracts pops up, it will give more opportunity for people to earn more crypto currency as bitcoin but i fear if there won't be more fake smart contract as lots of people would fall victim of this.
And complain of bitcoin loss would even be much

the thing I am concerned is that if there would be a smart contract for bitcoin there would be more smart contract hyip sites that would pop up like what happened to ethereum and tron hyip smart contracts

There are several smart contract around which are all fakes thus one needs to be careful while dealing with any smart contract to avoid being scammed in the end

true, I've seen some hyips site "smart contracts" and some stuffs in those contracts code doesn't even add up and some sites just copy paste code

Yeah and another challenge with HYIP sites is that ones those withdrawing outweighs those depositing , difficulty is bound to be faced

most hyip sites withdraw statistics isn't even near or not even half of their deposit statistics, some hyip sites doesn't even show their transactions and statistics

I think the engineer might be there to make sure that transaction take effect on whoesoever wins the bet ,but am suprise they use bitcoin to place the bet

Yeah! I do understand the bet, I just seem to wonder why there are a lot of drama attached to just two individuals placing a bet.

Its obvious there was drama due to the amount involved , if it was a smaller amount there won't be drama like this ,so its needed

I have heard about different crypto smart contract but don't know how it works , some asked me to join but i refused because am scared it might be another scam

Really bro the will have a refund system. So why they bet it doesn't make any sense. Well great people do great things. Leave them on their work.
