I received an email today inviting me to that site called EliteWriters.org. I have checked on it and it looks good. However, I cannot find a familiar name and I am asking around for proof of payment.

As per the invite, your post of at least 300 words earns half a cent for each like or reaction. For those veteran writers here, that site looks like Bubblews in style but I guess the owner or admin is different.

What's the latest about EliteWriters? I also remember EliteVisitors, the site that didn't pay the writers because, as the admins said, the site owner ran off with the money. And then they set up BestWriters, from what I heard also went the way of EV. I also remember Kisser was the tech guy in those 2 sites and now he is the defender of EliteWriters. Anyway, is EliteWriters still in existence and have paid all the writers? I hope to get a positive answer.

As far as I remember yes they are alive since long and paying to the member. But after hearing so much negative things about the site , I don't feel like working on it. So I am not active any more. The rate of view for earning is real well on this site in compare to other sites. Also they give some earning if someone comment on our article.

Yap, I have heard some good points about this EliteWriters and some of my friends online are boosting and even recommending it through their referral link. According to them, EW is paying. For that matter, my first impression would be hanging either I would believe or not. Anyway, I don't want to venture for I have already a traumatic experience for not being paid by a once-popular site which disappeared like bubble on the air.

Which means most likely that they do not operate the site anymore so I would be careful before you register and start writing content on it. If the above is true, then it's most likely just still up there to get people to write content without noticing that the site is not operational anymore.

I highly recommend https://letsencrypt.org/ it's free and does it's job.

It seems you don't know $hit about SSL, a site owner can decide to implement SSL or not.

I understand, I was dealing with this too and decided to remove non-ssl ads and I acquired a super powerful advertising addon for our forum and run adsense when there's no advertisers. Short and simple!

I was told to write a post to get back to my account. I wrote a post just now and I see I have written now a total of 8 posts each with 300 plus words. My total earnings are 62 cents which means I earn around 8 cents for a post of 300 plus words.
Unless the rate is increased sizably I will not go there.

What the rate 0.005 per view on post so the more you write intertsting stuff the more views you will get

@kissser What one gets after views is different from what the intrinsic value of a blog is. The value of my blog that has 300 words is only 8 or so cents. It is very very low.
