I received an email today inviting me to that site called EliteWriters.org. I have checked on it and it looks good. However, I cannot find a familiar name and I am asking around for proof of payment.

As per the invite, your post of at least 300 words earns half a cent for each like or reaction. For those veteran writers here, that site looks like Bubblews in style but I guess the owner or admin is different.

These are the same people who set up Elite Visitors and Best Writers. The first time an admin ran off with all the money and no one got paid. The next attempt was supported by 'writers' who were never paid and were asked to donate to help keep the site up. That also failed when there was no money to pay for hosting, and as far as I know no one ever got paid.

It's an ad revenue sharing site which means if they don't make much revenue than they may not pay you. I can't believe the same bunch of people are having a fourth attempt at doing this in a year when each one has failed. Personally I would steer clear, as they aren't a business, but a couple of guys around the globe who have probably never met and have set up a website together. From what I recall one is in the US and another in Beirut.

Why wouldn´t that? If they made $1000 with the other 3 domain names, that is $3000.. a domain name and hosting for a year costs less than $30 on ipages. By changing the domain name, they probably will not get back the people they cheated the first time, but they are likely to not get caught by people who search to see if they are a scam.

I received the same email inviting me to join! For 300 words, it is so cheap with the payment of .005 cents. My chance of picking up 1 penny on the street is much higher than that. I think I will pass as it is not worth for me to sell my soul, not to mention, I have never get a penny out of them before.

I had mentioned this to my husband and he said he registered just to take a look. Yes, he also said that it looks familiar because he was not paid by EliteVisitors that changed to BestWriters and then FamousWriters. Some of my husband's writer friends are supporting the site for nothing (they said for friendship) and my husband said we cannot live by friendship alone. So there, I am considering this Elite whatever to be an Elite scam. Pardon me if I am wrong but the site must prove it that I am wrong.

I don't usually join sites unless other people recommend them. There is just to much of a chance of joining a bad site. Sometimes even when you do your homework though you still end up with sites that are less than satisfactory. I need to remember to give this one a wide berth.

This is horrible. Four times already? This makes me quite angry! Maybe this should be put in the Scam category?

Yeah, sounds like a scam to me. If they are getting money in enough where they take the money and run then they are getting money enough to pay for their hosting and domain. A "company" that shuts down and reopens a website under different domains is typically a scam. Especially when you can get domains for a year for $5 at a lot of the domain sites on the net now.

Huh, half a cent for a 300 words post? That's a bit too much, isn't it? I mean, I'd rather write for content mills even though I loathe them right now. Lol. At least they pay $2.43 for each 300 word article and you just need to get approved. I guess if your post can get enough likes, then you might earn from it. But judging from the site and by a quick Google search, how is that going to happen? It seems like this site isn't even doing well when it comes to ranking and publicity. There's not much reviews about them as well.

I mean, your husband's friends are really quite nice for writing free content for sites. Why not just write their own content in a blog? That would be a far better choice than joining content revenue sharing sites. A lot of this types of sites have already closed, from Helium, to Bubblews, to Yahoo Contributor Network... It's such a shame, I know, because lots of people were earning from these sites. But it seems like the site owners themselves don't earn much from it enough to close these sites.

This definitely reeks of "scam". Even something like megatypers doesn't strike me as dodgy- especially if the owner has a history of ripping people off and fleeing with the money.

thanks for the reviews. Some people make it their business to go around and scamming people. They start as with a particular name and run off with subscribers money and then reincarnate in another name. that offered add packs and

Half a cent for 300 words is insanely low. Like others are saying, this has to be a scam. Actually, it's a very odd scam in that they tell you upfront how much they are screwing you.

Hi there,
am the owner of EliteWriters.

Yes we did send that email to invite people to join and like you said admins changed .

^^ We have no clue what your talking about.
we are paying everyone who is reaching the minimum payments as fast as possible and banning people we are using paid traffic

is it ? a scam when we are already paying people

300 word for a half of a cent remmeber you may get paid for a post more then once if you got on it newer views.

Avoid this site! I am willing to bet that it is a scam. How can they even position themselves as an "org" sites as this designation is meant for non-profit organizations and charities. I was on the site that was under the same ownership about a year ago and they ripped off all of the writers stating that one of the owners took off with the money.

This is the first time that I'm hearing about this site. My piece of advice is that please refrain from submitting your article and getting it wasted until you get an authentic proof of the payments and get in contact with one of the current users.

This is article writing site I have joined this site long ago. Though I haven't posted more article yet. So far not reached to any payment now, but I am near. So will provide payment proof when I get it.

About site, you can write articles on different topic with more than 200 words on it. Just check the rules before posting. Earning is depend on the view. They have rate of 0.005$ per unique page view which is good compare to many sites. They also give some earning when someone comment on your content.

Minimum payout is 5$ and as per site you will get it within 48 hours after you request. So this is it.

I am aware of the site and the owner posted above regarding the clarification about the site. The site is a blogging site that they lessen the amount of the minimum to attract the members to be active, from $10 to $5. I think the site is paying. There maybe less payment view because there are less members on the site. I appreciate that there are clarification above about the site.

I like the site. Earning from the site is not easy considering the EW requires writing. These days I find it harder to earn money. But yeah good luck to the site.

What's the latest about EliteWriters? I also remember EliteVisitors, the site that didn't pay the writers because, as the admins said, the site owner ran off with the money. And then they set up BestWriters, from what I heard also went the way of EV. I also remember Kisser was the tech guy in those 2 sites and now he is the defender of EliteWriters. Anyway, is EliteWriters still in existence and have paid all the writers? I hope to get a positive answer.
