Most of us knew that El Salvador made Bitcoin legal tender in June of this year. According to a report from El Salvador's newspaper, the authority is planning to release a national stablecoin. The currency could be circulated by the central bank, pegged to the value of the U.S $.
What do you think about this?

Very good move by elsavador ,because taking a move and launching a stable coin shows they have more deep interst in digital currency , but have they given an exact date for launching the coin

This is a good idea and will bring more yield to the investors. This is the kind of news that should continue to plaque the network as it will bring in more investors

Seems they will stick to Bitcoin for the foreseeable future. But maybe someday they will develop their own digital currency. Can only wait and see.

That's great news to see El-salvador launching their own country's stable coin to ease the issue of fluctuations in prices of the volatile BTC, and other coins in case needs be. The government is futuristic, and they wants to make the adoption of crypto last a very long time to bring income to the people steadily.

Heard a news that they are going to release it before the end of 2021, although for now I haven't really heard about their stablecoin, Majority of the news I've heard from them is the development they've made with bitcoin in their country. As majority of the top countries too are I think racing to launch their stablecoins or digital coins like china, could be interesting to see the world of digital coins in the future

A national stable coin would be very much interesting as this would even go a far extent of giving their citizens hope that cryptocurrencies are going to help out as they have something of their country involved in it.
Also they can easily swap their coins for their local currency easily than it ever was done before.

In my opinion, it's rather too fast. The country should focus more on the successs of the bitcoin project first before embarking on another cryptocurrency related project. There is no doubt that the country has made successes in the bitcoin project but they have not explored all the bitcoin opportunities.

I think that is very necessary for a country that is utilising cryptocurrency to this extent to have something that people can store the value of money that they have in cryptocurrency in a safe way in order to prevent them from being subjected to the high volatility rate that is in with Bitcoin. Therefore I think that the development of a stable coin is a very good idea.
