National Australia Bank(NAB) has launched a stablecoin.The stablecoin named AUDN is backed by the Australian Dollar(AUD) and has been created to allow customers to settle transactions on the blockchain in real time,cross border transactions,repurchase agreements,etc.The stablecoin has been built on a layer 1 blockchain of Ethereum and they are options to explore layer 2 blockchains.

The NAB is the second of the Big Four banks of Australia to launch a stablecoin after the Australia and New Zealand Bank(ANZ) launched its own last year,named A$DC and is already minting now
