It seems such job is a big demand as many people from non-English speaking countries wants to learn the language to be more competitive globally. Other freelancers do tutoring online with Math and Science subjects. Do you know such site on offering such services such as tutoring online?

In my regular job I'm teacher. You probably won't trust me and it's ok, but trust me it's not easy job beeing a teacher. You need to have a lot of patience and every student is different so you need to have different approach, especially in real time communication.

I agree with you. Teaching(especially kids) is never been an easy job, you have to deal with different students everyday that has different attitude. And
teaching kids is even more difficult because they have tantrums.

Honestly, even adult sometimes have bad attitude unless
you will be able to choose those who really love to learn. I am hands up with the teachers out there for their patience and dedication to this job, it is not really easy.

Its not easy to teach but its the most respected profession out there, very challenging one and can help you earn more money as well in a very respected way. I have seen and know many from Philippines that are earning well by teaching online mostly English to kids of different countries like China and other such countries and its quite hectic as well as its not easy to control kids.

Usually adult are more responsible than kids. But sometimes they are harder because they know more about life and they have more experience and it's harder to change their habits.

Yes,I have read about different sites,which are offering teaching lessons services.I didn't even try out the sites,because I don't have a diploma to do that.When I was a teenager,I wanted to be a teacher,but I found the 5 years university too long time,just to become a teacher.

Yes, I see some friends who do it as a part time job. There also many korean people who study here in the Philippines to save some money because it is cheaper to study here that in korea.

Yes,teaching it is not an easy profession.Yes,you have to have patience and skills to how to teach in a way,to be understood well,to be pleasant and easy to learn the same way.That's why in some countries teachers are very well paid.

@tuziget you are right though part of Africa teaching profession is not encouraging especially at the elementary level that why people don't like it however, teaching online is highly profitable but the criteria are not easy to meet up with especially if it involves teaching languages

I am seeing a lot of sites that offers online teaching,particularly tutor for english language. The lowest rate that I see is $3-$4 per hour, but the fee for tutoring kid is much higher about $20-$30 per hour.

Did anybody hear for LMS or Learning Managment System, something like Moodle? It's system where design your online course, upload materials, exams or presentation. It doesn't require face to face talk, just people visiting your course and read materials and solve exams.

Moodle is one version of LMS. It's actualy CMS like Wordpress, but specialized for online learning. Most other system are runnig Moodle but they call themselves different. There you can set up your online course and call others for join as students.

Yes,I think is an ideal job for every teacher,who would like to earn some extra income every month,or even he can do the teaching as full time online job too,if he has many and long time clients.He better has some teaching talents too,so his students can easily assimilate the learned things,lessons.This way,the teacher will have more success and will make a name for himself.

Hello im hired before in 51 talk and mostly clients are East asian students they are really hard to teach and some are Adults already professional but have a broken english ! i tried biz mates too but failed in thier! hope you tried both ! goodluck!

That is the reason for the big salary, I guess. They can be hard to teach, so patience is really required in this job. How many student do you teach per session that time?

Yep, Patience is the most need in teaching. And also you will exert some effort in student that are slow learners. If someone want teaching make sure that teaching is their passion.
