Contentgather Review.jpg

ContentGather is both a content site or you to sell your pre-written content in their marketplace and a content mill site. The site has a special section for custom jobs that you can review and take to earn extra money on the site. If you are 18-years of age or older, you can fill out the registration form to join this site. The company is looking for a native English speaker who has excellent writing skills. They say you can live anywhere as long as you can prove that your English writing skills are top-notch. In one section on the site, they say they will accept anyone who lives in the United States, Canada or the UK to join the site. However, if you can prove to the company that you can write a great paper in English they will allow you to join this site.

How Does it Work?

You must register with the site and fill out your profile in order to submit content for review. The pre-written content that you submit to the site will need to pass through the content moderators on the site.
When joining the site, you must be 18 years of age or older. The clients who visit this site are native English speaking clients, therefore, you'll need the writing skill that fit these qualifications in order to be accepted.
The site requires you to have a PayPal account before you can join. If you don't have one it is necessary to create one so you can join.
Make sure you fill in your complete profile on the site. This is one of the requirements.
You must submit a few articles to the marketplace when you first join the site. They won't give you access to the custom jobs until you have at least 1 article approved in the marketplace for sale.
How To Submit Your Articles:

If you have any pre-written articles that were rejected from another site, you can submit them here to this site. The site will review your article and either approve the article or reject it. There are a few articles that are returned to you and you're asked to edit this article and send it back in.

If your article has been rejected there is no possibility for you to edit this article and send it back in for approval. However, you can always try a different article if you wish.

After an article has been approved by the site it is placed in the marketplace for sale. You can choose how much you want to sell your work for. Just keep in mind when the article is sold on the site, you won't earn the full price for selling this article. The site will take 20% from the sales of the article as their commission for hosting the article on the site and selling this for you.

The company only accepts articles that are 250 to 1500 words long. So make sure you fall within these guidelines when you submit your articles to the site.

How Are You Paid?

The amount of money you earn on the site will depend on your level and rating on the site. The site will pay $0.02 to $0.12 per written word. As a new writer on the site, don't expect to receive top dollar for your article. You more than likely will receive $0.02 per written word. This will increase as your ratings and levels increase on the site.

You'll need a balance of $5 in your account before you can request your payment. The company takes 24-hours to process your payment. Afterward, they send the money to your PayPal account.

Has anyone ever joined this site?

What do you think about this site?

Well I think it will really take some hard times for me to have a good earning at that site. I think I should improve more my writing skills before I could joined that site.

I think contentgather has it's set of the benefits in terms of the rate. but you have to be properly understand that some of such content sites have their set of the limits. so it's worth noting that part for sure.

I dont really content gathers needs too many article writer rather looking for people who will give them the best or quality jobs for a good reward

ContentGather is very good especially if you want to improve your writing skills. They are strict with grammar and substance. Not to brag but I have earned more some dollars during the introductory period and to date, I have sold 3 articles .

I am afraid that I might not be able to meet their standards since you say that they are very strict in terms of grammar and substance.

I think if you check the articles which got approved. you can get the idea of how the article needs to be write. and that can give you some idea on where to post and which categories have the buyers. that seems to be working for many people out there.

You also need to read their author guidelines. The articles these sites buy are specific to their audience. So you might be a good writer and still get rejected if your article doesn't meet specific author guidelines. I always check for it when I see writing sites.

One of the major problems I've found out about these sites is the amount of time an article can sit on there and never be sold. Some articles that people write for these types of sites are time sensitive in some areas. For example a new update for Google is coming out on a certain date and it can effect a lot of people. A person could write an article about this. If the article doesn't sell by the time the new update goes into effect then it is basically a worthless article and it will never sell. So if you do happen to want to add some articles to this site it is better to not write time sensitive articles for here. You could be wasting your time.

Well this is pretty similar to shareaholic as well the content is there in the market but it always depends on buyers intent whether he likes and decides to buy or not

All sites that you try to sell your articles on are similar. It will depend on the site and how they promote your articles. There are way too many people who've had articles rejected for one reason or another that go to these sites and try to sell them. If they were rejected for grammar or other problems, it won't help to post them here and try to sell them. Nobody will purchase them.

yeah you are right one should focus on grammar at first
neil patel usually has the best advice on the matter
he always recommends to give at-least 2 hour to thinking approach
and 45 minutes to jote down
and few minutes on promotion of content (v.important )

You are right on this. However, there are some excellent sites for student's online these days. They will take your paper and perform a readability test on your paper and give you back a grade. You can use the suggests they offer to improve how readable your paper is for you. I think this also helps people improve on their sentence structure and helps them to write a paper that is easier to understand.

I have read about this site online and I know if a legit site and one can actually get paid if one is due for payment.it just that one has to be good with article writing, be good with grammar, expression and making sure the spelling are correct.

Are you sure isn't this the used to be gather.com? cos I have an account there and I have some posts there already. well, I have postloop already but haven't tried if my log in credentials work still. I will probably try and log in.

No this is a completely different site all together. It is not the same as gather.com at all. This is a site that you submit your already written content to and they post it on their site for sale. You'll need to compete with a lot of people and the price you earn isn't that great at all.

I have an account on content gather, I even submitted article, however, my article was not submitted. The reason given was: my writing quality does not meet their standards. They might have reasons, however, it is also true that I have been working as a writer since a long time. They are legit, but they seek high quality.

This site used to be Postloop, but now redirects here.

Content Gather seems to be about writing articles for people to buy. It says it takes anyone from English speaking countries and pays by Paypal. There seems to be a thriving marketplace of articles, but while I have signed up I'm not sure about giving content to them because the dashboard is unreadable on my system (half the options are blocked by the menu). Has anyone used it, and can they reveal how well it pays?

I'll sign up later but I got a question though. Will my work get rejected if they don't like it? Or will I have a compensation for it

I do believe I've answered this same question on several other posts you asked it on. The answer will always be NO. There are no companies out there that reject your work and then compensate you for the rejected work.

* Just for the record. There is a Postloop site. Not sure. Perhaps it was down and then it rose again. But I sign in to my Postloop account almost every day.

As for ContentGather, your link does not redirect. It goes directly to the site. Someone suggested this site to me; but I don't like the idea of selling my article.
