Coinbase Reviews.jpg

Coinbase
Coinbase is one of the world's biggest digital currency wallet/exchange that support storing, transacting and trading of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin etc. It one of the oldest begineer entry cryptocurrency exchange which support buying and selling of cryptocurrency directly with a connected Bank account or other payment methods.
Coinbase is a San Francisco based exchange and was founded in 2012 by Brian Armstrong and Fred Etrsam as part of Ycombinator. Coinbase started as Bitcoin Broker, selling Bitcoin directly to customers but over the years has added alot of services along the way making it one of the most reliable crypto exchange out there.
Coinbase currently has over 20 million users from all around the world with over $150 Billion worth of cryptocurrencies traded. Also Coinbase was able to raise $217 million from world leading investors like Ycombinator, Andreessen Horowitz, USV, USAA and more making it one of the most reputable crypto exchange with lots of external backing.

Coinbase support trading of BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, ETC and more. Users can deposit using either Wire Transfer or Debit/Credit card.

It is important to note that Coinbase is a fully licensed and regulated KYC/AML complaint exchange, you are required to undergo identity verification before you can make use of it service.
Currently Coinbase support and fully operate in 32 different countries across Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.

Pros:
1. Begineer Friendly: This is one point where Coinbase really shines, it's is one of the most recommended beginner entry cryptocurrency wallet/exchange cause one does not need to know how to trade to buy and sell cryptocurrency on the platform using ones bank account. Coinbase is mostly regarded as one of the best exchange for beginners to trade Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, It interface is very clean, Intuitive and easy to navigate.
Coinbase also provides a mobile app available for both Android and iOS.
2. Reputation: Coinbase is one of the oldest reliable exchange out there with millions of users and it backed by reputable organizations. Coinbase is also one of the few cryptocurrency exchange that is protected by insurance.
3. Security: Coinbase takes careful security measures to ensure optimal security of users funds. According to it website, about 98% of customer funds are stored in offline storage and distributed in safe deposit boxes in different geographical location all around the world.
Two factor authentication (2FA) is also available for adding extra layer of security to user accounts.
4. Merchant API: Coinbase provides a well documented API allowing online merchant to accept cryptocurrency on their website.

Cons:
1. It Not Available Globally: Coinbase is only available in a very limited amount of countries which spread across few continent.

Based on my research, Coinbase is a legit exchange, the only major disadvantage is that it's not available in most countries. If your country is also not supported, i recommeded you to checkout Luno which is quite similar to Coinbase but support a larger number of countries.

Do you have an account here? What's your experience?

instant payment is a remarkable option here that no other wallet (BTC) offers so far I think. they keep users waiting for transaction confirmation. same feature was my fav for paypal but aahh so many limitations there.
Yeah instant is so coinbase which everyone desires and it's security is top notch. PayPal needs to be lenient with the limitation punishment.

the transaction confirmation waiting time is dependent on the blockchain traffic though not on the wallet itself, if you want to move up in the traffic usually you pay more transaction fee, probably coinbase sets those fee as high as possible to move you up in the traffic

I have an account with Coinbase. It's very easy to use and I can easily make BTC transfer from my Coinbase to my broker account. It also offers an exchange, wallet, and developer API.

I signed up for Yanda which is an Automated Trading Software that allows you to create trading strategies that work automatically ...
After registering I had to choose from several options offered by Yanda, and I chose to work with Coinbase, understanding that the two sites will make a kind of interconnection ...
If you have already used Coinbase, I understand that you are satisfied with this site, I would ask you to tell me what you think about the idea of "create trading strategies that work automatically".

ITS CHARGING TOO MUCH COMPARING TO BLOCKCHAIN, I HAVE BEEN CHARGED 2500 SATS , WHEN I SEND MY 2$ BTC IN BLOCKCHAIN, NOW I DONT HAVE INTREST IN IT,
2500 sats isnt a big amount especially when the bitcoin price is high like now and the mining difficulty increases. Yeah blockchain charges slightly lesser fees

yeah, trading through coinbase is still limited to some countries, other countries can't enjoy the full functionality of coinbase , even the rewarding airdrops are only given to mostly U.S residents

My first bitcoin wallet i used. My transaction was done here but it doesnot support my country like other wallets do. Hope we can withdraw direct to bank in future

I have an account there but had issues with the account, could not do much transaction there. I think there is a limitations to some third tier countries using the place.

Try contacting their support team through email and explain your situation to them then. I don't think they have put any limitation to accounts belonging to third-world owner, but maybe I'm wrong here.

I always use coinbase as a wallet for my bitcoin and tha fact that they accept other currencies in their wallet now is amazing, the only problem is that they don't allow my country in their trading market

Coinbase is a very good wallet but there are too many restrictions on my country and users from my country using that app might over time change wallets.
I have the same issue, but my question is can we use VPN to gain access to coinbase?, I mean what is the problem in having a wallet, why even there are some restrictions in particular countries

I have used coinbase wallet for a while now. And I can say it a great wallet. To start with, it is reliable, secured, fast and convenient. The charges for transactions are not even much.

Coinbase has some disadvantages (no DOGE, some fee weirdness, conversion issues) but it is DEFINITELY legit. I am new to this mostly, but I consider it one of the safer places to store my balance.

The best feature though is definitely Coinbase Earn. Watch some videos to learn about a crypto and they give you some of it. They limit participation, but I have some invitations still if anybody wants to get $10 in free EOS or XLM for basically watching a video and taking a quiz.

You have to wait for approval when you sign up, but don't panic. Once you've joined, you can do this for ~six cryptos or so and they are adding new ones. I have about $50 so far in my account and it was all completely free. I used some of it to start playing poker.

I recently created an account with coinbase and so far I am loving it. It is a good wallet with a very simple layout that is easy to understand and use. I like that I can receive several types of crypto currencies in it then convert it to whichever I want there. Sending the crypto to another person is also easy there and the transaction fee is more affordable than in other wallets I have tried.

Yeah coinbase is legit, but just like you said its accessed only on some areas, but for other areas it only uses for holding coin, i am one of users of coinbase wallet but i only have access to hod my coins, i can't exchange or trad with it, and one thing i don't like about coinbase is that the minimum sanding amount is 10,000 satoshi i can't send less than 10,000 satoshis.

Oh yeah coinbase is good wallet but like many member said they wallet trading option works for some country's, and also the "learn and earn" option also works only in some country's, and coinbase minimum sending amount is bit higher than some wallets, the minimum sending amount is 10,000 satoshis, but they hold Meany crypto coins and that's the best part,
