I used to think so myself until I placed ads on the site.
The first time I placed an ad and logged out, when I checked back later, the ad was listed twice in the PTC ads, and I was charged twice. I chalked up the loss that maybe I did something to cause it. The next time, I was very careful and all went smoothly for the 2 ads I placed there. Today, I placed a single ad, again being very careful after what happened with the first ad. I closed the browser with my single ad placed, and went to the store to get my daughter a hoverboard she wanted. When I came home and logged back onto the site.my balance of 7000+ satoshi in the ad balance said 258. Upon looking further, I found my ad had been placed not once, not twice, not even three times, but FOUR of the EXACT same ad all in the same batch of PTC ads listed.
I immediately emailed support to let them know something was wrong with the system, but got no response whatsoever. Then I noticed the chatbox for live support and messaged there. 3 hours later, there was finally a response. But the response was to blame me for it, saying I clicked my mouse extra times, or my browser might have been slow and I kept clicking.
I placed the ad using my phone, so no mouse was involved. My browser was very fast, and the initial ad was placed immediately, no extra clicks, as everything went smoothly. When i left, there was ond ad. When I came back, my account was drained, and 3 utterly worthless ads were listed.
Even with the lengthy delay in responding, when the admin answered in the chat and blamed me for them being placed(I swear on my daughters life, I touched my screen 1 time, and only 1 ad was placed when I left the site), the ads still had 2/3 of the views left on them, and could have been pulled immediately to mitigate any further damage.
A trustworthy site would have done whatever they could to correct the issue. Even just stopping the ads when it was brought to their attention would have been better than trying to tell me I ordered the ads. When the admin in the chat repeatedly told me that I did it, and showedhe had no interest in resolving it, or even trying to, yep I called SCAM!
Then I was blocked from posting anything until Nov of 2040. Thought he could silence me. I advertise on over 200 sites, and this is the ONLY time an issue arose that wasn't handled professionally and courteously.
I was told that I didn't "have to use or like their site". They basically stole my money by allowing a technical glitch to drain what I had deposited. I had planned on placing ads for other sites when I logged back in, but had nothing in the account to pay for them. FOUR IDENTICAL ADS at the same time! So obvious not what anyone would do. I would have placed the ad 1 time for 4 tikes as many views if I wanted 4 ads.
They censor their victims and I am going to post ads on all my other sites telling my story. This is NOT how a trustworthy business is run. You're safe to collect, but DO NOT SEND MONEY IN AND ADVERTISE THERE!!
Customer satisfaction is nowhere on their list of priorities. Let the campaign begin! I will not be silenced after getting scammed
