The price of bitcoin has been doing very well lately, and as of yesterday (1 October), the price of bitcoin has been over 10k dollar for 66 days without fail. This is an excellent achievement in my opinion, as the article which I have read on this topic shows that the last record length for BTC price over 10k was a 62 day streak. This was experienced in in December 2017, which we all know to be the height of the BT price.

What do you guys think about this incredible streak? The price has been on the downward trend lately, however do you think BTC will be able to maintain its price above 10k?

I look forward to your thoughts and comments on this topic.

Based on my study it was around $120000 some weeks back then it went down to $11000 again and now $10000 am very sure it might later fall to $9000 this is not the best time to invest

The new resistance that might break might have another negative impact or positive impact and response , so some people wants a positive turn

The struggle has been real where bitcoin is concerned. Maintaining that for 66 days straight is impressive but I am sure that investors would have loved it breaking a new resistance than remaining where it is for so long.
I agree with you here, i think that investors would have preferred to see it breaking the next resistance level, however the maintaining of the price above the 10k threshold is a definite plus and does show major strength in the crypto world. Perhaps in time we may see this. Personally i think the slight decline over the last week or so could be brought on my a second wave in the pandemic.

You may be right about the second wave of the pandemic but I really do not thing it was a major factor. We can only keep our fingers crossed to know how the next couple of weeks will affect the top coin.

Am not sure if the second wave of the virus had come because the rate of the virus is dropping gradually in some countries and price of bitcoin is increasing

I was reading reports that said that countries such as france and spain are currently in their second wave and may experience another lockdown in an effort to try and control the case numbers. I am not sure if this second wave will be true globally though.

May be not globally but it is very true about some countries having increased numbers. The beginning of the pandemic saw bitcoin soaring, hence my thinking that another wave of it shouldn't cause a decline.

How so? If i am not mistaken, when the pandemic really started to hit many countries in March this was followed by the markets crashing and the price of bitcoin tumbling down overnight. Can you please elaborate a bit more on your thought process.

Cryptocurrency especially bitcoin passes this type of resistance. Bitcoin spent up to 3 months at 9k value and when it finally crosses it, it has not done below it. Let's us just keep believing

Yeah it implies 2 things , either the price may go down completely in the coming days or the price may remain the same for the next few days too. But I believe this is the right time to sell bitcoin.

Bitcoin price to me can never go down completely, bitcoin is the boss of all cryptocurrency and it will stand the test of time, seeing not gone back to 5 months ago price of 9k is something that is positive about it

Yeah it is , but once the pandemic gets over , anything can happen. People may consider selling bitcoin , which can result in decline of the price. But lets hope $10k is the lowest price the bitcoin can have.

I think that after the pandemic the price of bitcoin is likely to maintain its value and may even go up as the pandemic seems to have taught many people about the value and the uses of crypto and how it can benefit economies moving forward.

The pandemic we talk about is not really that much now as compared to the earlier days and at this, people are not idle, they have adopted online cryptocurrency investment especially bitcoin

You are right, people won't divert their attention from Crypto currencies easily because they will surely or preferably get alternative source of income.

Yes in these days bitcoin performing well rather than than the september, I hope it will grow more then we can earn more profit. What say?

The price today is $17,884k while it taking a decrease still. But it good that it had still exceeded the 15k resistance. Still looking out for more increase

Off course we are expecting btc to be at its best now that there is still alot of confidence in it by both short term and long term investors.Looking at the way crypto has maintained its financial stamina in the economic crisis that was brought about by the halt in economic and finacial offline trade and movement its definately a go area zone for investors since the economy is opening up now.So we will surely expect a rise definately.
