hello! I believe it will depend on your location, or country. The answer will differ from one country to another. Like in my case, I am the PH, and almost all banks are elligible to give cards.

Capital one bank and chase bank give qualifying customers credit cards if they have a good enough credit score.Bank of America is another credit card bank.

Base on my little knowledge about credit card I think it depend on the country you're but if you're somewhere around Africa and Nigeria to be specific, we have Zenith Bank and UBA.

For some reason, I have never got a credit card. I once applied for it but I'm glad that my application did not go through. I would have been a slave which I do not want. I prefer to spend the money that I earn as salary and from my business activities. I have a friend who lives from pay check to paycheck for making poor financial decisions with their credit cards. Although I know that I can discipline myself, I do not want the temptations. With this, unfortunately I'm unable to advise you on the banks that offer these credit cards.

It depends on what country you are from.
In some countries its easy to get a creditcard, in some very hard to get one.
Has to do with how established credit cards are. In my country everyone uses debitcards, and only use creditcards when going to another country.
Most of the people here dont even own a creditcard.
I recommend taking this to Google and searching for reviews of the programs since it is not a very well known thing to discuss on here.
I did hear about credit card churning, which seemed highly interesting to me if that is available in your country. Some people earn a lot with it but you have to plan carefully for the fees.

There are 2 types , Local banks in your country ( Generaly it can be compliated to order credit card like the papers and long time ect ...) , and online virtual banks .
First thing you should check for the second type is if that bank supports your country or not , Prices and Fees , and if offer easy ways to charge your card .

Its true that it depends on the country that you are in and since I have never applied for one at my age, I think I can still survive without. I'm very cautious about my credit score and with a credit card I think I would mess up with this. It is the same thing with my country. Not many people own credit cards and instead they prefer using mobile money services which I think almost everyone has. These mobile money services also lend money to subscribers and the more you borrow, the higher your limit will be. I think churning is there and that makes me more skeptical

Can we get cash from those electronic banks? So far I just use PayPal and got few times earned online Money on my credit card from local bank. In local bank I have Visa Electron Card.

I think first and foremost thing the bank wants before giving a credit card is your financial status. No bank would work to incur losses. Your account in your bank is assessed and having got sastisfied that you can repay the loan or overdrawn amount through your credit card, they will decide to offer you one. That is equally applicable for e banks of offline banks. So it will all depend on your account and it's maintainance with the bank! So far I never heard any bank selling Credit Cards like a commodity!

Actually you're right that no bank will want to incure lost and what happens if the banks gets fold up due to one reason or the other?. Just like it happened in mmm?

I think if you are in the Philippines you can apply a credit card form BDO and Union bank, these are the banks that I know would offer you a credit card without having so much conditions.

As per research I have seen in the web that unionbank caters some loan to African countries and it has a branch in Nigeria. You can check in the web to fully understand the loan approval process.

Well having a credit card is certainly useful and important these days since we do a lot of International transactions for personal or business purposes. Most of the times the credit and debit cards issued by a bank in our country can be used to do a lot of international transactions. I think the Visa and Master cards can be useful in this regard, however, there are some financial companies and issuers who do issue cards which can be used internationally. some of these companies are as follows:
* Payoneer
*Weswap.com
*OKPay.com
*Ecopayz
*USUnlocked.com
Well, I don't use any of the services mentioned above because the credit and debit cards issued by banks in my country can be easily be used for all kinds of international transactions. I think that you should try and find out on the sites of the above financial entities and find out whether their services are provided in your country. Most of these companies to operate internatuionally.

I think that depends on where you come from. I know many banks in my country which give credit cards and visa cards but they are just local. I don't know which banks are worldwide and offer such.

Not sure about the credit card. But reloadable debit cards are out there. For example entropay is one such that offers such option. You can also check out internet only banks which can offer you some debit and credit card too. It can be pretty effective on that note to use them. But watch if your country has relation with that company before proceeding, lot of such services are open to first world nations.
