Ark has recently crackdown on Chinese stocks too by selling off it shares to use the funds to invest heavily on bitcoin. The details are as follows.
ARX Generation ETF bought 140,157 Grayscale shares (GBTC) adding up to the 310,000 initial purchase totalling to $11 million. It also got (876,157) Coinbase shares valuing over $200 million, with $88.74 million of Twitter shares inclusive.

This could be a way to show displeasure in the decision by Chinese to crackdown cryptocurrencies or they find more opportunities in cryptocurrencies than Chinese stocks.

You are probably right. I think many institutions who have stakes in cryptocurrencies would certainly be unhappy about China's decisions to pull the rug on Crypto.

if they had made losses selling the Chinese stocks ,I think Bitcoin could be the best opportunity to regain the loss , probably they are not so interested in holding the stock as it's not moving well ,and they actually want to earn better from Bitcoin ,as it would be a better option and opportunities to earn too
