Do any of you all do this? I've been doing it for a while, and I've picked up some pretty neat things.
The way it works for me is through a site. I use amzreviewtrader, but there are others. I tried doing different sites at once, but I'm not that organized.
On the site I go "shopping" and pick things out that I'd like to try. The company that makes/ships the product decides whether or not to approve you for a sample. If you get approved, they give you a coupon code to apply in your cart on Amazon. The coupon codes vary from 10% off to free. You will know how much the coupon code will be before/when you ask for a sample. Amzreviewtrader has things pretty organized, and you can sort the list by "lowest price" to show all the free stuff first. Most of the time the things in the Free category are supplements and vitamins and stuff. Also a lot of screen protectors and phone cases (for specific phones though, usually the newest ones.)
I've gotten headphones, screen protectors, supplements, phone cases, a pillow, just all kinds of things. After I test it out for a while, I just provide a review on Amazon. 10 days seems to be kind of the max, so I test things out for about a week. This is super handy with Amazon Prime so I don't pay shipping. My initial plan was to turn around and ebay the products that I reviewed, but I never got that far. I'm sure it can be done though, I'm pretty sure there's people out there doing it. So I thought I'd pass along that info.
