Do any of you all do this? I've been doing it for a while, and I've picked up some pretty neat things.

The way it works for me is through a site. I use amzreviewtrader, but there are others. I tried doing different sites at once, but I'm not that organized.

On the site I go "shopping" and pick things out that I'd like to try. The company that makes/ships the product decides whether or not to approve you for a sample. If you get approved, they give you a coupon code to apply in your cart on Amazon. The coupon codes vary from 10% off to free. You will know how much the coupon code will be before/when you ask for a sample. Amzreviewtrader has things pretty organized, and you can sort the list by "lowest price" to show all the free stuff first. Most of the time the things in the Free category are supplements and vitamins and stuff. Also a lot of screen protectors and phone cases (for specific phones though, usually the newest ones.)

I've gotten headphones, screen protectors, supplements, phone cases, a pillow, just all kinds of things. After I test it out for a while, I just provide a review on Amazon. 10 days seems to be kind of the max, so I test things out for about a week. This is super handy with Amazon Prime so I don't pay shipping. My initial plan was to turn around and ebay the products that I reviewed, but I never got that far. I'm sure it can be done though, I'm pretty sure there's people out there doing it. So I thought I'd pass along that info.

Well, first off thank you for sharing that info, I did not really know about that even if I would have searched for it I think i would not have ever found it, however, I think it depends on the country you live in, for example, I live in a hispanic country and I dont really knwo if I can do that from here, isn't it for America only? or Shall I try it out from here?

I use Snagshout and Brandbacker, if any of you are interested in knowing. With Brandbacker, you have to have a blog. You apply to try something and they either approve you or don't. With Snagshout, you get highly discounted items in return for Amazon reviews. You start off only being able to get one item, but as you rate things and rank up, you're able to get more.

I use amzreviewtrader as well. Great site. The key is to build a good review reputation and then sign up for the sites that give you better stuff. Make a blog as well and post your review on the blog and amazon, the companies love this and some require it. Some even require you post on facebook and instagram as well. Some products are worth a lot of money and you can make decent income if you build that reputation. You will make a lot more than doing paid surveys.

I have always seen blogs or facebook users with people who test items and wondered how they did it. I will certainly check this out. I suppose like many other things it will take a while to be helpful.

Sounds like a fantastic way to get free products, but how do one becomes the "amzreviewtrader"? Do you applied to Amazon to become one? I would like to look into this and see if something will work out.

@kdb890 Thank you also for the details information! I think they sounds very interesting!

How do you become a product reviewer? Is there an application process?
If you don't have Amazon prime, do you have to pay S&H?

It seems like if you are being paid to review items you shouldn't have to buy the items in the first place? You said you look for the free items but if you have to pay for an item it Seems a little counterproductive.

I went back and looked at it today and yes, it does seem like you have to pay something in order to review it and then get paid for reviewing it? Did I just get that wrong? That doesn't really seem like it's worth it unless the company has a pretty large target consumer. In which case, it would be similar to flipping?

Just recently I received a jar of facial mask cream (regularly $24) in the mail in return for a review. Things I've received in the past include tea tree oil and rosehip oil. That's all via Brandbacker. On Snagshout, I got a clay molding kit for $1 and an eye cream for $1 (normally $12) as well as a free wine bottle opener.

I really love this tactics of getting free gifts just for a review.I love to write reviews.I hope my location will allow me this time around.I need tocheck out and hope my country is inclusive.Nobody talked about the exact locations permitted for this.

Wow thanks for the useful information.. I have no idea about this free products.. Don't if its available in india.. Can you tell me what are the requirements to get free products..

This sounds really interesting. I don't k is whether you are still working with the site or not. But, can you please tell me if this is available for Indians as well? I would love to work on a review writing site.

I guess this is working method in US based marketpplace. I am not sure if this is a good method for the indian market though. Because I have not seen people testing the product in there. You can see that marketplace is full of the price options. and they seem to be not much offerings on some of the marketplace. so I guess dropshipping based marketplace may not have that. but I am guessing it'd be reasonable to be try that as well. that's what I am thinking as well.
