In Brazil, their second largest cryptocurrency exchange is actually paying hackers in order to try and breech their security measures on the exchange platform. This may seem very surprising to many, as hacking is something that is frowned upon, and illegal as well, and that many receive criminal punishment for. Ideally exchanges want to try and stay away from hackers. However, BitcoinTrade is usign these hackers as a way to identify the vulnerable areas in their security in order to work on and improve it. This was a great way to ensure safety from other hackers and allows them to put their skills to use to better improve the security of the exchange. This is a good thing and will surely be of benefit and increase the confidence of the users of this exchange.

Let us wait for their outcome, I think the exchange platform might also give them time frame to try the hacking and if they don't succeed with in the time frame then no deal.
I think that with this development or method, then perhaps they will be doing this on a regular basis every time there is an update on the exchange site in order to ensure that they stay up-to-date with the best security protocols.

That's great sure because they were always be on top of security and I'm sure they will hire high profile White hackers for them to be sure they are progressing

Compensation is not the issue but reputation, they are able to reach the status of the second largest Exchange platforms in Brazil because of subscribers, if these subscribers loose confidence in them they will not longer be the second because people will pull out resources.
Well i think before they start that they might have been prepared to create a back up incase there is any security breach , that is why they are testing this hackers i think, but i guess they are in searc of white hackerd

Yeah that could be true but most of this exchange platforms usually make use of cold wallets as a strong backup though they still keep good amount of funds on software wallets.

However , wise hackers may pretend not to be able to hack it ,until the exchange will have a huge amount of money in it where they will benefit much from it .
That would be shooting oneself in the foot but I think that such sites would have put such things into consideration before employing such methods.

Exactly . Compensation may come but the trust has been lost and won't easily be gotten back . People will not be confident to deal with the site again .

I will like to follow the update about this thread to enable be me know if the hackers are making progress with respect to time , I am sure if they succeed other platforms with invite them too

Well i think they do have backup , but its still like a mystery on how those hackers. Still hack sites like that after they claim to store the funds on a cold wallet

If I'm not mistaken, at least here in Italy it seems that hacker is not illegal if used in order to unmask every illegal / criminal activities.
I don't White hackers are illegal in any country because their jobs is just detect criminal activities so the word hacking should not be a negative word .

Hmm, good public stunt that attracted a lot of attention. Wonder if those hackers actually trying to crack their security or simply pretending to hack it just so to generate positive public points.

They will definitely have to try as much as possible to crack the system because if they succeed they will definitely get more clients so I don't think they are doing that just to seek public sympathy or attention.

If the hackers managed to crack the system then that mean their security is weak, how come they will get more customers if people found out the security is weak.

I mean the hackers will get more jobs from other exchange platform though they may not reveal it openly to come and crack their own system not the exchange platform I mean we get more customers.

This is just a way to improve on their security vulnerabilities if there was any, but still an agreement could be reached so as the situation not to get out of hand

This is another means of ensuring the safety of there system. This will definitely increase the user confidence and also attract more users.

I mean this was an excellent trick the crypto currency exchange used to check their exchange security shortcomings and since they are paying the hackers for the job, l know they will do their possible best to check the system very well.

Yes it is a very good way to ensure the safety of the exchange and expose any vulnerabilities. It is important to ensure that that these hackers are reliable however, as there are many cases where exchanges and faucets go under with one of the developers taking advantage of the system.

These hacking most times is usually as a result of bridge of trust amongst the team running the exchange platforms especially the technical team.
