In Brazil, their second largest cryptocurrency exchange is actually paying hackers in order to try and breech their security measures on the exchange platform. This may seem very surprising to many, as hacking is something that is frowned upon, and illegal as well, and that many receive criminal punishment for. Ideally exchanges want to try and stay away from hackers. However, BitcoinTrade is usign these hackers as a way to identify the vulnerable areas in their security in order to work on and improve it. This was a great way to ensure safety from other hackers and allows them to put their skills to use to better improve the security of the exchange. This is a good thing and will surely be of benefit and increase the confidence of the users of this exchange.

Yeah i think its better they check the vulnerability by doing so because most big exchange sites do face hacking issues and others i think

What better way to test how far hackers can go against their security measures than this? But this is a dangerous game I won't like to be played if my money is involved.

This might be a good move if there is a concrete agreement within them that if they eventually succeed in hacking into their platform they should not tampered with people's funds.

Hackers are of two kinds, the white hat hackers (the somewhat good guys who only hack for education and creative reasons) and the black hat hackers (hackers who hack with evil and malicious intent.)

So it is very possible that they paid the White hackers for them to be able to measure the level of their security and the platform and if there is need for more improvement, thanks for your enlightenment.

I guess maybe they already have a backup for that or the jackets would come to meet them if they are able to hack the site and they would pay him for doing so if it works out

That will be better otherwise subscribers or members of the sites might move their coins because of fear of their coins getting lost if the hacker is able to hack into the system.

This is their strategy of testing the strength of their security before they enter into full functioning . Many companies employ this strategy to test their security .

They are into the business already but I guess they install some softwares that they feel the need to test done to see the efficiency of the security measures if it can be hacked or not.

I mean if someone can find the faults of the system it would be the hackers because they know exactly where to look. I think it's a good idea

I was still wondering why they would hire hackers to breach their system until I read their reason. It is a good reason and worth taking. With insecurities experienced recently by most Crypto exchanges, it is best to really know the weak parts and correct them.

This is a good move, this way the exchange will not only strengthen their security with the help of hackers, but also win the support of traders that their investment is secure with them.

Let us wait for their outcome, I think the exchange platform might also give them time frame to try the hacking and if they don't succeed with in the time frame then no deal.

Well since they are the second biggest exchange site , i guess the people won't freak out that much ,and even if the hackers hack the platform , there would still be compensation

Compensation is not the issue but reputation, they are able to reach the status of the second largest Exchange platforms in Brazil because of subscribers, if these subscribers loose confidence in them they will not longer be the second because people will pull out resources.

Well, no exchange can claim being secured until they are able to withstand an attempted breach. This site is doing the same and I think it is an excellent idea.
However , wise hackers may pretend not to be able to hack it ,until the exchange will have a huge amount of money in it where they will benefit much from it .
